I don't know if it helps any, but I started to talk to DFTW before I was engaged. I told DF how long the process took with Disney and he understood and said to just get started with them and by that time we would be engaged. Got my date from DFTW yesterday (and the ring last weekend :lovestruc)...

I don't think you can do a Wishes package without the reception...I know you can have the ceremony elsewhere and then come back for the reception (that's what we are doing) I am sure they will behave themselves, and perhaps your fiance could speak to them beforehand?

Every time i call them, they try to sell me a package with catering though. I don't need that for just a ceremony. I have emailed and called several times. Every time its a package with $3000 price tag and catering. Which is by no means saving me a large sum of money.
