Free parking. We have stayed there a few times in the past and have another stay this October. Parking has always been easy to find too. We have also arrived early (hours before check in) and left the car while going to the parks with no problem.

Thanks for your reply and yes, there may not be much point to trying to predict crowds right now. I’ve decided to stick with my original dates unless there is some clear indication that the new SoCal Key will make a big impact on crowds in the next few weeks.

I just purchased tix from Last Minute Travel, for our needs it saved over 100 compared to Getaway Today and Undercover Tourist and 300 compared to Disneyland.com. There is a recent thread about the new LMT process (over the phone ordering). I would check that out.

Just purchased tix from Betty - 5 day 1 park per day for two kids and two adults came to 1102.28. This was over $100 savings compared to the old ticket prices still on sale at GAT and UT. Very pleasant and fast process over the phone.

Looking at the blockout calendar I was guessing that SWGE may be open as early as late May. I was anticipating that deluxe holders may get access during the week when it first opens, then blocked on the weekends. Before full blockout happens later in the summer. Just speculation though!
