Would you rather - park hopper vs. base tickets edition...

I'd do the 4-day. I like to be able to go at a slower pace, and I like to spend time at the resort pool. Especially in the summer.

Restroom work in Club/Lab Disney Magic

The problem is that the side that appeals most to some kids, especially younger ones, was completely closed the whole cruise. It’s what everyone thinks of when they think about the kids area—Toy Story room, Marvel Academy, Pixie Hollow). This is why people with young kids choose to pay more for...

Restroom work in Club/Lab Disney Magic

On the Magic cruise that just ended, the Club Side (Toy Story stuff, younger kid side) was closed the whole time. No open house time at all (I think). Some passengers got vague email ahead of time. Our family got no notice. Very disappointing since there was a 5YO and a 6YO and the Lab side...

Chocolate and Liquor tasting- 20 year old

The focus of choc and wine tasting is combining the flavors of the chocolate with the different drinks. There's not really a "chocolate tasting" only part. So even if you could bring a 20YO, I wouldn't suggest it.

    Opinions of The Wish

What I liked: Having the lounges located as they are seemed to make them more lively. Maybe people would pass by and decide to stop, rather than having to go out of their way to find them. Plus the ship is lovely. What I didn't like: The adult pool area. We like to spend a day lounging by the...

    New Orleans Jan 31 PATs

Does anyone know what the earliest port arrival time is for this sailing? All Aboard is 8pm. And if anyone knows why this one is leaving so late, we haven't seen an answer about that other than maybe it has to do with being first sailing out of New Orleans this year, which doesn't make sense...

    Giving up on MDR food

We have gone on multiple cruises where we never went to the MDR at all. DH says the food is bad and usually not the right temperature and it takes so long. I really don’t care what we eat usually. So we eat at the pool deck, Palo, order room service.

    Jollywood Nights-Hearing Some Negative Feedback...

We (two adults, two teens) went on the Monday before Thanksgiving. We had a great time. I think part of our satisfaction was because we bought the tickets instead of regular day tickets, and this was our only HS time. So we got the great holiday vibe, rode some favorite rides with short waits...

New Holiday Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 Dates Revealed + New Frozen Castle Illumination!

This is so right--in MK, you just walk up and enjoy the entertainment, but at Brown Derby you have a timed entry. Insane that there would not be continuous entertainment in there.

New Holiday Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 Dates Revealed + New Frozen Castle Illumination!

We bought tickets for our upcoming trip because we thought there would be a lot of "atmosphere." The initial info led us to believe they would limit attendance so that guests could experience all the special stuff (obviously didn't happen) and we thought that the music areas (other than Brown...

Which resort is a never or never again for you?

We love OKW. It's big and we do make sure we have a car when we go there. It is so pretty and so relaxing, and the big patios or balconies are so great!

What analysis would you like to see?

I'm interested in best value for SAPs. Along with explanation of how you calculated. An organized discussion of what's the best use year given various fact patterns (I haven't yet had it matter other than having all contracts in the same one, and I always wonder when people start asking.)...

    Oceaneers Club/Lab - Age for check-in/out privilege?

Our oldest was a rule-follower when he was younger, and we let him check himself in and out on his first cruise which was at age 8. We made sure he knew where our room was and where he could and could not go. Also the very strict rule about no one in our stateroom and he could not go in anyone...

    Magic - new menus?

A six night is usually my favorite--2 menus each specific to each MDR, and no pirate menu!

    Door magnets and Kids gifts

another fun thing is a magnetic whiteboard. Draw pic of today's activities, ask a question of the day (saw this where people were asked to vote with tally marks), trivia, leave notes for each other, etc. Note--you need pretty strong magnets to get things to stick to the doors, especially...
