    For those folks driving!

You know, I don't think I've ever been to Lafayette before. Maybe when I was younger with my dad. I live about 5-10 minutes drive from I-75 so if I go to GA it's usually down that way heading to Atlanta or Savannah.

Awesome. Hi neighbor! Assuming you're in GA, that's gotta be somewhere around Tunnel Hill and Dalton area right?

When is everyone going to Disney?

    150 days from today!

    For those folks driving!

Awesome! That's literally a 5 minute drive from my house. Maybe 10 minutes around the holidays when traffic is insane. That sucks about the pizza. Burnt pizza is just sad. I think our downtown Mellow Mushroom is better, but it's smaller so it's a little more cramped and noisy. However, you can...

    7 Night British Isles Sept 2, 2018

There are so many places in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland that I want to see. I think to cover all of it would take at least a month long trip to each destination, if not more. Unfortunately, time is a factor as we don't have a set number of vacation days per year we can use. They...

    7 Night British Isles Sept 2, 2018

My best friend and I have decided to make this cruise our big trip for next year! We've never been on a cruise before, nor to the UK/Ireland (though we've literally been talking about visiting since we were 13, circa 1999). I've never been out of the states actually. So many firsts, so I'm a...

BOG - sold out for breakfast/lunch/dinner 180 days in advance?

That would explain it then! Though I got my reservation yesterday before noon. I think it was around 9:30-10. Just for curiosity's sake since I'm still learning Disney's patterns and such, how do you find out when they open up dining for parties and the like? Is there a list somewhere? Or is it...

BOG - sold out for breakfast/lunch/dinner 180 days in advance?

I had no luck when I looked at 180 days and I'm at 171 now, but I figured that was mostly likely due to the fact that we're staying off site so I had to make our ADRs every morning last week. I ended those 8 days with no luck on the BoG front. Then this morning, thanks to the TouringPlans...

Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

I didn't know you could use the valet parking at a resort where you aren't a guest, but after reading your suggestion and doing some research I think that sounds like the best/easiest option. Maybe we'll do that. Thanks so much!

International Gateway with pre-park opening reservation?

No need to apologize at all! I always worry I'm writing too much, but I'm naturally long-winded I guess. I love details, so I really appreciate it. I'll be on the lookout for Garden Grill. We'll be there for 8 days in total and have 3 of those planned for Epcot, 3 for Magic Kingdom, and one each...

International Gateway with pre-park opening reservation?

Ok thanks for letting me know. Would it maybe be a better idea to try a later breakfast after the park has opened? Like a 9:30 or 9:45? We're definitely excited about it! We've never done ADRs or any sort of pre-planning before. We would always just wing it when I've been before. This is going...

    For those folks driving!

Seconding that Atlanta to Valdosta is painfully boring. Also had to comment just to say I live in Chattanooga! You don't see it pop up much in conversations, so whenever I spot it I feel compelled to say something.

International Gateway with pre-park opening reservation?

Ok, I'm a total WDW newbie here so forgive me if what I'm about to ask is 100% ridiculous. Does it work in reverse? We're staying off site, but have a 7:45am ADR for Cape May Cafe. How would we get there? Will they let us walk through the park to the gateway?

Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

I'm a WDW novice so forgive me if this makes me seem daft. We're planning on spending the day at Epcot, but since it doesn't open until 9am we made an ADR for breakfast at Cape May Cafe for 7:45am in hopes that by the time we're done the park will be open. So I guess my question is if we park...

Scrappers are killing CM pin trading!

I didn't know pin trading was a big thing until just a few months ago. The last time I was at Disney was 2007 and I saw a few people trading here and there, but I didn't really understand it and noticed that it mostly was just kids doing it, so I figured it was something special for them that...

    Addicted?

LOL Thanks! I promise I'm doing it. I'm just taking short breaks to pop over to this window and see what's up. There's only so much one can read about JavaScript variables and calling functions without a break. :rotfl:

    Addicted?

Nope! I just joined recently and only started posting a couple of days ago and already it's sucked me in and taken over my life. For example, I have reading I should be doing for a class right now, but this is more fun so here I am.

When is everyone going to Disney?

My best friend and I will be there December 10th-16th. It'll be our third visit to Magic Kingdom, second time to Epcot, and first time to both Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It'll also be the first time we're there on our own as adults. The times we went before were part of high school...
