Enchante Brunch no longer offered ?

On the FB group for the sailing on the 16th, numerous other people reported dinners cancelled. Also the dessert experience, which has gotten good reviews. Sounds like a kitchen staff shortage. We’ll see if they will offer it on the 19th sailing when we are booked!

Enchante Brunch no longer offered ?

Oof, that sucks! We are on the 16th and 19th b2b but waiting for Enchante dinner until the 4-night cruise. At least we are doing Palo brunch the 3-night. Still shows in our cruise plans, so we'll have to keep watch!

Does the RotR LL line skip any good parts?

There are lots of props and objects to see in the standby line as you get further in (the idea is its a resistance base so they have things stored everywhere). It's also cool to see how they themed the line. While those are interesting, I wouldn't wait 1hr+ in line just to see them. Maybe a rare...

The Oogie Boogie Bash 2022 Thread (ALL DATES SOLD OUT)

Most looked like near walk-on. Monsters After Dark had a long wait at the beginning since they hadn’t cleared out non party people yet. Webslingers was walk right into the pre-show waiting room. Others I didn’t pay much attention to.

The Oogie Boogie Bash 2022 Thread (ALL DATES SOLD OUT)

Sandersons were very long. For that one best bet was to go there first and line up pre-party. Bruno looked like 30 min? Kingdom Hearts was about 45 (my friend got in line at 30 min parade announcement and didn’t finish til after the parade). The ones by fountain went pretty slow, so even though...

The Oogie Boogie Bash 2022 Thread (ALL DATES SOLD OUT)

I went to the party last night and am willing to answer any questions. Some things noted: -Character trails were spectacular as always! Ernesto was definitely the longest line, but the CMs know people are wanting to stop and watch him and they try to push you along. We got in line all the way...

Disney Wonder warning => Vancouver Port on strike

The airport was so backed up the day I left. So many cruisers in security line (US/International) and that was with only 1 ship coming into port. Can't even imagine if there were multiple ships docking. Partially a lack of personnel but also the personnel they had either weren't trained well...

Disney Wonder warning => Vancouver Port on strike

Oof! That would totally suck! Who knows when you will be getting back there and what state the glaciers will be in. I know it isn't DCL's fault at all, but I'm sure GS is having to deal with a lot of crap right now!

Alaska Sailing in September - No Good?

Skagway - Railroad and then explore town on your own. We did Best of Skagway and didn't have any complaints about it (the Red Onion Saloon tour was really interesting and Liarsville was delicious and the performers really fun), but we regretted missing the town itself. Juneau - Whale watching...

Is there an exit before getting on the Smuggler's Run ride?

Yes, there is one with the ADA entrance/exit. That pod is not part of the turntable since they can take longer to load or unload. They use the same hallway to get in and out, so people who get to the main room of the Falcon can ask the CM and they can guide them to the ADA exit.

Alaska Sailing in September - No Good?

The glacier day is the primary day. I know I took a photo with Goofy in his lumberjack outfit on Ketchikan day, because he participates in the lumberjack show. I also caught Daisy in her plaid glacier outfit in the atrium after dinner on Juneau day. So they could be trying to bring them out...

    GOTG: Monsters After Dark LL?

In the past they released the FPs for MAD at a specific time. At 3pm you could either get a paper FP from the kiosk or digital via Maxpass. It may end up being something similar? Or you just have to watch G+ for when the LL return time is after 5pm? I suppose we'll find out Sept 2

If DCL wants me to throw all my $$ at them...

Yeah, those are my bets for ship names too. But I had thought the Wish would have been named "Imagine", though I suppose now Wish feels appropriate. Wish - fantasyland Adventure - adventureland Imagine/Imagination - Tomorrowland?

Alaska Sailing in September - No Good?

I went with Alaska Shore Tours, which contracts with Northstar Helicopters; I think the other people booked direct with that company but the vendor I used was just fine. I believe Coastal Helicopters was the original company which had to close up camp early. They were still running flightseeing...

Alaska excursions - a few questions

Just got off the Wonder last week. We went excursion heavy, just one in each port, but a long one. I would have liked to see more of Skagway and Ketchikan but I was honestly too tired and just didn't have the energy. Juneau had a nice harbor area (though the Wonder docks further south so you...

Alaska Sailing in September - No Good?

In September the Helicopter/Dogsledding will probably not be running anymore. I just got off the Wonder a week ago. I had booked that excursion with another operator and a week before cruising they sent me an email that the conditions at the dog sled camp (Herbert Glacier) were too poor so they...

Cass, Rob & Kira - July 2022 Disney Wonder Alaska Cruise - Worth the covid!

Just finished the TR since I was on the Wonder for the last few installments! Just got off yesterday and I'm missing it. We had awesome weather, only rain was on the last sea day (which was insanely windy and choppy in the morning). All our food was delicious though, so it looks like you had...

Ordering from Kids or Allergy Menus

Is it ok to order from the allergy menu even if you don't have dietary issues? I was looking at the Wish menus and realized they have some unique dishes on the allergy menus that I'm more interested in than the regular adult menu. Also a couple of the kids desserts look good to me! I just don't...

    B2B changes

Honestly the current protocols aren't keeping covid off the cruise ships anyways. Right now it just seems to be a big safety theater and causing so much stress before and during cruise. This is coming from someone who has been ultra safe and supportive of various covid requirements over the past...

    1st Alaska Cruise of 2022! Our Honeymoon Cruise 5/16/22 - 5/23/22 (Updated 7/14/22)

Yeah, we have taken note of your tips too! Eating beforehand, etc. Hopefully we will have good enough views though it looks to be pretty rainy while we are there!
