That's very interesting. Just got off the Magic, and was on last year also - off to check our pics to see if it was the same.

We were spoiled - we returned to cruising post pandemic & our cruise in 12/2021 & the 2022 WBPC not only didn't have people lining up early, there were very few people in line at all. The characters were frequently alone. That was definitely not the case with our cruise last Dec. We were happy...

They tap it now instead of sliding it through, so you have to hand it to them, but don't need to take it out. You can also use a Magic Band.

Just back from the EBPC. There were a few people that would line up extremely early, which would make others think they had to also. We did not - we kept an eye on the lines, and got in line when it reached a certain point. We heard many complaints that the lines/wait times were way too long...

They're switching over to a new cast.

I've been told that the EBPC will be double cast, so that was my assumption too.

We'll be on the Magic in a couple weeks for the EBPC. Will post some pics when we return. :)

I am SO very sorry! It was not my intention to imply that first time cruisers aren't welcome. The issue on that particular cruise was that most booked last minute without any knowledge of how the cruise would be. I don't want to go into details because I don't want to derail Mags' thread...
