We will leave on March 2 via the Auto Train and will check in to a room at Coronado on the 3rd. We split-stay, so will move over to CCV on Wednesday to spend the rest of the trip. I. Can’t. Wait.

Dahlia, Territory Lounge, and Nomad are always on our list.

We had a reservation once, and they were having trouble moving people along. So they asked if we would mind being in the cooking place. Mind?? Yes please! The chefs will talk with you as much or as little as you like. We voted for "much" and had a fantastic evening.

Another vote for Walker. We’ve used them for years and loved their scooters so much, we finally bought one of their used ones. Still going strong!

I could spend a whole day roaming around AKL. Both Jambo and Kidani buildings are beautiful with lots of art and other things to enjoy. Many outdoor places to roam and many places to sit and watch the animals. Food at the resort is wonderful too.

One of my favorite things to do is grab my Kindle, pick up a QS meal of some kind, and take the raft over to Tom Sawyer Island. There’s comfy seating at Aunt Betty’s, the views and ambiance are so relaxing.

Has anyone had success with “bidding” for an upgrade? I’ve put in for one from a roomette to a room, and one from coach to a roomette. I’d love to know what others have experienced.

Have you considered Riviera? It’s our favorite 1-bedroom on property, and the splash pad and main pool are right next to each other. Plus you have the Skyliner for extra “rides” if the kiddos would like that.

We do split stays every trip. We do long trips as well, and now split-stays as we did get bored with the offerings when we stayed in one spot. We do not have children, so we can easily do a 3-way split - usually something like 4 days at Pop!, 5 days at POFQ or Coronado, and then the last 5-6...

FYI, we get a first floor room, the Attendant brings meals to the room when we ask (I do tip well for that) and leave our ECV in the car until we arrive. We take a walker or cane, but we also have used their wheelchairs when necessary on both ends.

I absolutely agree with this. WL will appeal to all ages for different reasons. Between Geyser Point and Roaring Fork, QS options are great. And Territory Lounge is another favorite. Now that the ferry to FW is back, the idea to take the kiddos over there is genius. A large group might also...

I am envious of your time in Epcot during the Festival. I had been planning on spending some significant time there during our trip last month, but my spouse wasn’t up for it. Solo trip someday!

I have enjoyed both, and enjoyed them for different reasons. I would do CC for a resort-only stay. You can always take the boat from WL and then monorail (or boats) to the other resorts for fun, but if you're just hanging out, WL is gorgeous, and peaceful with great food and drinks.
