It might depend on your airport. I’ve heard better experiences with Spirit at my airport than Frontier, but from reading the other responses it clearly varies.
Where I grew up it was common to have new kids start at the public school in high school. I had many friends who went to private christian/catholic k-8 schools then went to the public high school. They all seemed to adjust well. It helps though that they had been preparing to go to a new school...
If it’s important that you can see all your kids/sit together I’d pay the upgrade to select a seat. If it’s just a preference that you sit near each other, but you’re okay if that doesn’t happen. I’d stick with the current tickets you have and just hope for the best. Even if 95% of the time...
Many years ago on a trip with my parents we were upgraded from a garden wing standard view room at the contemporary to a tower theme park view room. It was magical fantastic!
Unless you are going thanksgiving week, with 5 days at universal you probably won’t need express pass to ride everything. If you stay on property at universal they have early entry like at WDW. If you stay one night at a premier universal hotel you get two days of express pass which is usually a...
water and coffee for me in the morning. The only time I really drink juice anymore is mixed with champagne in a mimosa(not very often) or if I’m staying at a hotel with continental breakfast(also not very often).
A 9/11 “Celebration” is an odd choice. If anything I could see a church putting together a 9/11 Service/prayer/remembrance gathering, but having a 9/11 party doesn’t feel right.
In my area, girls tend to spend $50-$150 on a dress and most do their own hair and makeup. Guys usually wear a pair of dress pants and a dress shirt and they might buy a tie to match the color of their date’s dress.
As long as you avoid 4th of July summer isn’t too bad, it is very hot though. Also take advantage of random teacher inservice days where students are off and take off a few days before or after. They still miss school, but only 2-3 days instead of a whole week.
As the others said, keep checking the website because people cancel trips all the time. I’d have them book a refundable room at a Disney springs resort or the swan and dolphin(if available) as a backup in the meantime.
My aunt “retired” from cleaning (she still does normal daily tidying up) and laundry in her late 50s. Kids were out of the house so her and her husband hired a house cleaner once a week and they use a laundry service to wash most of their clothes.
Would she feel safer watching from further back down Main Street, like by the train station. Being next to the wall at Casey’s I would imagine would be worse for sound sensitivity than out in the open because of the echo off the wall.
I’d give it a few more days and see if the old reservation drops the try the pre selections again. Or if you’ve already been waiting several days for the old reservations to drop, then I’d call Disney and see what they can do.
