    Update on Castaway Cay?

Cabanas 19 and up are still out of service per shoreside concierge. There is plywood up just to the right of Cabana 18. They said that they generally don't do any construction while guests are on the island which really cuts down the amount of time they can work to get things back up.

Questions about cruise from NY in November

We sailed out of NYC on one of the coldest days of the winter Two years ago... pool areas were still pretty cold the next day but the rest of cruise was fine. Other people complained about how rough the seas were first day but we didn't notice a thing. You're from MA so your tolerance for cold...

    SWDS & MDS

Anyone know if they are still adding any more special days to fall 2019 cruises... we did a Marvel Day out of NYC in 2017 but can't remember when they added it to the itinerary... hoping they might add one again.

    Book online vs travel agent

If you are like me, you don't need a travel agent for any info. I booked my first cruise a year out and spent the next twelve months studying everything possible about Disney cruises. (I'm a geek who loves to research) I was not surprised about one thing the entire cruise except the long line...

NEWS 5/17: Late 2019 itineraries released - link in post #1 (2020 watch thread will start soon)

We did November 2017 and it was one of the coldest days of the year when we left, but a day later we were in shorts... no big deal.... but there were a lot of people who complained about wether (ironically, they were mostly people who live in the Northeast).

    Tweens/teens out of New York

That is correct. That is why we are on the week after. We live in Jersey... we don't need to travel with Jersey.

    Disney Magic 11/11/17 from NYC

We are concierge so it was a little confusing for us having never done it before. They responded after two days saying they would put our requests in at 120 days. We are not asking for one spe ific cabana so we feel like we can get one... from what I have read the only other things we want do...

    Disney Magic 11/11/17 from NYC

Paid in full today so we can be ready to book activities when our window opens! Has anyone ever put their kids in the club on the island and booked the adult cabanas? I'm tempted but worry if the kids are not having a good time.

    Craft beer drinkers unite

Wow, basically Disney has no actual craft beers, from reading this post. I am a stout and porter guy and that mass produced Irish stuff does not count.
