    Memorial Weekend

We did 2 days after a cruise in 2018 over Memorial Day weekend. We were in AK on Sunday and MK on Monday. It was busy, but not unbearable. Honestly, I couldn't tell that much of a difference in crowd from other times we've gone earlier in May or later in June. We were able to ride both Avatar...

What was the name of the beach you went to? How was it?

    St. Maarten Beaches

What are the best beaches to go to in St. Maarten? Preferably with chairs and an umbrella available to rent.

    St. Maarten Excursions

What DCL options were actually offered? We are sailing in May and can book St. Maarten excursions on Friday, but not sure what will actually be available.

No kids why do you stay with Disney?

We are a married couple without kids, and we have only ever sailed with Disney. Our first cruise was for our honeymoon. We were a little nervous about cruising at first, and with Disney's track record and my personal experiences always being excellent with Disney resorts, we definitely felt...

    April cruising

We went the last week of April in 2015. The weather at Nassau was great--very warm and sunny. However, it was rainy at Castaway Cay and ended up being cool enough to need a light jacket. The water was way too cold to swim.

    Port Canaveral Parking

When we went on our first cruise two years ago, we pre-paid for parking at the terminal online on the Port Canaveral website. Now, they have changed the website and I can't find anywhere to reserve parking online. Did they do away with pre-paid port parking altogether? Or am I just missing...

Port Adventures - can DCL do better?

That is our worry too. We're not big risk takers, especially in another country. We are planning our 2nd cruise for next May, but we didn't do an excursion on our first cruise. What are some DCL Port Adventures that you thought were good?

How soon can we be at MK?

On our last cruise, my husband and I took our time and ate breakfast in the main dining room on debarkation morning. It was just the two of us, and we drove our own car, so that might have sped up the process. But we headed straight to Port Orleans Riverside from the ship, checked in, dropped...

    Childless DCL cruisers unite

We've only been on one cruise, and it was the Disney Dream a couple years ago for our honeymoon. Still no kids, but we've booked a second cruise on the Fantasy next year. We can't wait! We chose Disney because we love WDW and knew that we could trust DCL to be safe, clean, and fun for our first...

Whats the chance they will show Beauty and the Beast on our cruise ??

We were on the Dream when Avengers: Age of Ultron came out (it was released May 1, which was our disembarkation day). They did a midnight showing of the movie on the ship, which they will likely do for Beauty and the Beast. However, if you're disembarking the day before it comes out rather than...

Cruise secrets that DCL doesn't tell you- Part 2

We can definitely taste a difference in the water on the ship and in WDW, and my husband refuses to drink it! We used the Brita filtered bottles at WDW and it helped (could still taste a little bit of a difference, but the filter got rid of most of the taste). We are definitely bringing them on...

    Steamers onboard?

This must be a recent change. We sailed on the Dream April 2015 and took a small, hand-held travel steamer with no issues.

Disney Dream - Bahamas stop - skip it?

My husband and I went in April 2015 on the Dream. We had heard the same thing about Nassau, so we didn't book any excursions (plus there weren't many that sounded interesting that we could afford). However, we did venture off the ship to explore the shopping area (sticking strictly to the map...

FE Exchange but don't have kids

Cruising on the Fantasy in 2018 with my husband and was wondering the same thing. We didn't participate in FE on our first cruise, but I thought it sounded like fun.
