    Dining for wedding dinner recommendations

Cali grill would be great and Narcoosee's would be a great second choice as it's a bit more quiet and relaxed in atmosphere and you can also go out on deck to watch the fireworks.

    Theme Park Plans Sub-Forum

I rarely look at sub forums(I don't think I'm the only one) so when this question came up I went to the sub forum to check things out. So many of the questions and answers would help more people if it were in the main forum. Just my 2 cents.

Aulani Dining - What am I missing?

AMA AMA is hard to compare to other Disney restaurants. I'm not a huge fan of Cali grill so I would say it's better than that. It's no Victoria and Albert's but it's slower paced like that. So more of an experience. The sunset is spectacular. We thought the plating was well done and picture...

Aulani Dining - What am I missing?

I agree that Ulu is just a QS really no different than BC market place etc. Off the Hook is a slight step up but nothing special similar to Olivia's. We did like the Shrimp flat bead at OTH. I do think these places are for the masses so they only have a nod to Hawaiian inspiration. However, we...

Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk opening in 2024

If they are looking for bartenders and waitstaff they will be opening sooner than later. You just don't hire that staff and say hold on for 6 month to when we're closer to being open. Some cold opening before Memorial day is most likely.

Should we stick with Beach Club Villas despite the pool refurb?

I think moving to the BWV is the best idea. You still get a similar vibe but I think your boys will be much happier at that pool. The resort pools are small with limited seating, have a quiet atmosphere(Dunes Cove, BCV pool, is often referred to as the Quiet pool) and there are not any food or...

    MCO car rental/baggage strategies

Also, There are tolls so you'll want to bring change or register for visitorstollpass.com and then you can just pick up your pass on the way to the Hertz garage. It's a hangtag for your rearview mirror and then you don't have to stop for tolls. When you drop off your car there are mailboxes...

Have to make dining reservations soon - need advice

Skipper's Cantina at MK has waitstaff that do the corny jokes like the jungle cruise. Hoop de doo is a fun dinner show at Ft. Wilderness that kids can participate in and have fun. '50's Prime time at DHS is a trip back in time and the waitstaff will have fun with your group or Woody's round up...

    Healthy breakfast options?

You will have a bev cooler in you room. You could do a grocery order with bananas, pears, apples, oranges (not all need refrigeration) and then get peanut butter, cream cheese, bagels, english muffins and you can toast them at the food court or eat without toasting. You can use the coffee pot...

Is this a realistic MK strategy

That's a lot in one day. Be flexible as rides do go down and lines build up when that happens. I hope you have a pool day for you next day.

    Do reservations open up?

You are also in the heart of spring break season. WDW in all facets will be busy and booked. Keep trying multiple times a day.

Are Restaurants Easier to Reserve Now?

We have always gone to a TS dinner for the past 20+ years. However, in late 2022 and through out 2023 one of the things that we noticed is that the price was not equaling our perceived value. We were paying $225 dollars for 4 margarita, two shrimp taco dinners and a shared app. While the food...

    Tangierine Cafe

It is a shell of it's former self. We used to love the schwarma platter and would bring some baklava back to our resort, so good. We tried the kabob ant the Festival of the Arts just a month or so back and it looked like poo on a stick and didn't taste much better. We each took one bite and...

    V&A Jitters!

The QVR is such and experience. There are four tables of four. Some just have a couple at them. You will be lovely in a short dress no worries there. A few days before the restaurant will contact you. We received an e-mail and phone call some just get a phone call. At that time you can...

    Need Your Expert Feedback

I think you have a solid plan. Your top 5 will be tough no doubt, I would have a back up plan for those or be able to switch nights. Ex. HDD@6:15 may be tough 60+3 but shouldn't be a problem 60+5 or if you don't get Homecomin' 60+10 take boathouse and try for Homecomin' 60+11. HTH

Grand Villas book very quickly as there are not very many. I would have a back up plan.

    Dynamic Pricing, yay!!!!!!

Uber, Lyft, airlines, hotels already use it. I'm sure we will see it move into other areas soon enough.

Does anyone else hate they keep going back to the same restaurants?

We go to WDW twice a year. Like others we have our favorite restaurants, however, one of our traditions is to try a new restaurant each trip. Typically these are TS and of course the menu must be appealing or we just wouldn't try it. We have had great success with this part of our planning...
