Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Canadian here. Went to Animal Kingdom today and was miserably cold. Had on long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, coat, jeans, and mitts. Packed it in just after 4 and headed back to the resort. Ended up cancelling our dinner reservation at Disney Springs as we just want to stay in the warmth tonight.

Considering a Christmas trip to WDW: anyone else?

For those of you that have booked a car rental as a back up for the way home and live in the GTA...did you also book a hotel half way as well? If so, where? We have never drove to Disney before, so I have no idea.

The hunt for a Covid 19 3rd Booster shot

I am currently in FL and was able to walk into CVS yesterday and got my booster no problem by using my parent's FL address. Trying to get my spouse one back home is another story. We have a Disney trip at the end of January and I would love him to have his for piece of mind.

    Cancelling Christmas/NYE Trips?

I just took a look at my Manulife Covid Policy. Section 10 Trip Interruptions Exclusions & Limitations: "2. Any expenses due to an official travel advisory issued by the Government of Canada stating "avoid all travel" regarding the country, region, or city of your destination, before your...

Shula's is the best meal on property that I've ever had. Looking forward to going back in January.

Split stay: is it worth it?

Love split stays. It gives us an opportunity to try out different resorts. For our Jan/Feb trip we are doing a GF/Poly/YC (plus a cruse at the beginning)...wish us luck, lol.

Is DCL booking for 100% capacity for the spring, 2022?

My spouse has the AZ/mRNA mix. We are sailing in January. I am hoping that it becomes recognized or he can get another shot of mRNA (not sure if that is possible)

The Dis replied in the comment section of yesterday's show that the kids are doing online schooling, so they are unable to do the afternoon shows right now.

For those of you who bought direct...

No regrets. We bought our first contract direct (a 60 point Poly contract) back in 2017. Back then that was enough to get the blue card. I'm not sure if I would do it now with the increased restrictions. We would probably just buy resale only.

January 5 Happy New Year from Disney

I have a trip planned for mid-sept. 2 adults, 1 child on an 8-day ticket. This promotion will only save us about $139. Hoping there are better offers coming.

    Need Recommendations

Hi all, we are planning on a low key labour day. We will be spending most of the day at Typhoon lagoon, but I would like to do a table service for dinner. We are staying at the Grand Floridian and we don't want to travel too far for dinner that night. Any recommendations on where to eat that...

    Shoe Strategy

I wear my croc flip flops during the day and running shoes at night. I find the alternation prevents my feet from getting too sore.
