I believe the Amish are exempt from Social Security taxes, because they do not accept payment from it. My husband (who works in banking) told me some Amish have also refused to accept the stimulus money. What they did to refuse it, I don't know.

We sent two TVs to be recycled, and I am looking forward to doing more since I once more am off work.

We are done, except for one gift for my husband. I have NEVER been done this early, but was motivated by possible shipping delays. I am hoping my son in the military gets his package before Christmas! Tree is up, but with two new kittens, no ornaments. The cats view it as their playground :)

We had to cancel our trip to England for this year, but are now planning a Disney Alaskan cruise next summer - I hope! We just did a three day trip to Gettysburg. We had a really great time, and most things are open. Hope you can figure out a fun trip for this summer yet!

A friend just posted pictures of herself at Folly Beach, so that's definitely open. We are from Pa as well, and are planning on going to Gettysburg for a 3 day trip. Lots of history, shops, and good places to eat. I think enough will be open to allow us to enjoy our trip.

I have been busy outside because the weeds never stopped growing this winter :headache: so not cleaning or purging much. However, I finally bought myself some new black socks and threw away the no-longer-possible-to-be-bleached-white old ones that were stretched out. I'm sad to throw them out...
