    When Will Tickets Increase?

i thought price increases for tickets came out recently? regardless, i would buy them now. i can only imagine how much disney will raise their ticket prices during this calendar year and justify it with the release of the new attractions

    Travel to Disney from airport

i just guessed you are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and the cost for mears was $145 round trip (32 per adult + 27 per child one way) an uberXL from MCO to OKW (which looks like the closest resort to MCO on a map) is $48.96 so would be around ~110 after tips and booking another one back...

Help choosing: WL, GF, WL villa

hey, i'm around the age of your older daughter and i would pick WL copper creek over the others any day. copper creek's studios are so rustic and charming i would live in one if i could haha. WL has a lot of disney charm like the monorail loop resorts but is not overwhelmingly busy. however i...

    Help picking restaurants

yes the edison is a good choice. i don't know if they still have it with covid, but there were live performers there so if your children are audio sensitive to that kind of thing i would definitely reconsider. however the food is good and not insanely adventurous so i think everyone in the...

    Figment Popcorn Bucket Insanity

i saw a tik tok of this lady lugging around 2 big bags of figment popcorn buckets in epcot, it is absolutely maddening the things people will do just to resell a plastic bucket on ebay (no offense figment ily)

Poly CL or BLT 2 Bedroom

i think CL would be better suited for older children and a 2 bdrm would suit your family really well. i've stayed in 2 bdrms at most villa resorts and the kitchen space is excellent if you use instacart or shipt to deliver groceries to the room

Has Grand Floridian always been so… hectic?

yes omg i've stayed at OKW many times and every single time it has been so quiet and calm especially if you're around the turtle pond pool area. OKW is slept on (quite literally).

POR vs Poly?? Poly $1800 better??

me and my siblings are around your oldest's age and we would pick poly over POR any day, but only if it was not breaking the bank. if you guys have no issue forking out the few hundred extra dollars go for poly! the vibes of the resort and proximity to MK/EP with the monorail is awesome (also...

    Boardwalk or Beach Club

if you dont consider yourself pool people and only go to the pool once a trip and won't make use of pool amenities, it's a no-brainer: bwv. i feel like not having a food court at bwv won't be the end of the world as you are insanely close to epcot and a bunch of QS dining options along the boardwalk

    AKL or Swan for June

is the AKL room you are considering a savanna or standard view? i would pick a savanna view room at AKL over swan any day. i've been to AKL twice and transportation isn't too bad. although you have to take a bus everywhere, the theming and overall vibe of AKL is honestly incomparable to swan.

Best WDW Resort for Non-Active Seniors for Dec 2022

beach or yacht club would suit you guys well like previous posters have said! i would also consider POFQ as they are very accessibility-friendly because of its size and compactness! have fun! :)

When do crowds drop off in August?

i def recommend going last week of august! my family and i have been going last week of august-early sept for the past few years and LOVE it. labor day doesn't seem that awful if you avoid MK- if you want to play it safe, maybe go to DS or have a resort day for labor day. it is also worth noting...

How bad is Mission Space - orange?

i may be an outlier because i did gymnastics for nearly 10 years and i just turned 20 recently, but i LOVE mission space orange. the green one is also fun, but MS orange is by far the most thrilling ride at disney imo. if you get sick easily i would highly advise you not to go on it, if you...

    Magical Express Ending Service

even if disney was doing this with the intent of replacing DME with the brightline train, we would STILL end up paying out of pocket for transportation from MCO to WDW. i just find all of this insanely disappointing. they use the sad excuse that they are recognizing the 'needs and preferences...

What is your favorite Disney Resort as a teen?

animal kingdom lodge is one of me and my sibling's FAVORITE resorts! if she loves swimming, i think beach/yacht club would be her favorite considering the awesome pool and lazy river they share. AKL has amazing rooms, especially if you get the savannah view. however, the only drawback to AKL is...

Early AM Bus from CR to HS?

depending on the time, CR buses may share routes with nearby MK resorts so the bus may be slow compared to ubering to HS. i wouldn't say it would be necessary to uber to HS, but it would be more reliable if you wanted to get there before opening
