I never buy business select but regularly upgrade after check in. Usually ranges from $20-$50 and I get 4 free upgrades on 2 different business cards. Way better buy than EBCI.

Is it not a cumulative amount? My experience has been it applies against multiple transactions, not just a one-time purchase. I haven’t done that much but seem to see it mostly with gas at Kroger Fuel. Maybe this one is different.
