2021 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Concluded on November 20, 2021

Hard to believe it's year 5 of my spreadsheet, but here we are! Some changes for this year include denoting in blue booths that don't open until October 1 and yellow backgrounds for returning items that were missing in 2020 or 2019. Some items shifted around but look unchanged, so I tried to...

Magical Express to end in 2022

Off property hotels doing backflips at the moment. No DME or EMH? Goodbye biggest selling points to spend the extra to stay with Disney. Everyone living in Orlando is going to be an Lyft or Uber driver come January 1, 2022.

2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Has Now Ended.

I ran into several booths that had registers that were cash only due to the card reader being down. I believe the only places on property that are truly cashless are the ones who only accept mobile orders now.

2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Has Now Ended.

Didn't have a lot to eat at the festival this year. Total of a dozen dishes between 2 days: Hawai'i, Kalula Pork Slider: finally tried it; great taste, too small a portion for $5.25 Islands of the Caribbean: Ropa Vieja Empanada: just perfect. Great flaky pastry and very filling Jerk-spiced...

Where to watch a Cleveland Browns game near Disney World?

ESPN Club is still closed. City Works and Splitsville are the only 2 places left on property that can put on any game.

    ***Official September 2020 Thread***

Just got my ticket emailed to me this morning and was able to make reservations for the parks I wanted each day! The availability calendar is not accurate. I was able to get DHS on the 13th as a resort guest, despite the public calendar saying it wasn't available.

I noticed the update on the iPhone Food&Wine app. DFB has pictures.

2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Has Now Ended.

We've got some more menu changes: France: goat cheese pastry has been moved into Les Halles and replaced by an escargot one (but not a croissant like years past), 1664 Blanc Fruits Rouges instead of the lager, and new wines Japan: Tempura shrimp gone, Teriyaki Chicken Bun returned

    *STEAK* Need Suggestions

The filet at California Grill is pricey but absolutely worth it. It's unfortunate there are no fireworks at the moment, but I'd still pick CG.

    Staying on property benefits?

Luggage delivery is temporarily suspended with DME.

Which parks would you book TS meals in?

I believe I've heard that HBD's outdoor lounge is now drinks-only. The menu on the Disney website seems to echo this with no food options at all.

2020 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Has Now Ended.

The Alps & Spain have confirmed opened. Disney just hasn't updated the website.

    Oga's walk up?

Craig was able to walk up on his livestream last Monday. Probably possible on weekdays but not weekends.

So happy to see the Alps back! The tart was one of the top 3 things I had last year. Frozen rose is great too.

    ***Official September 2020 Thread***

2 new areas being monitored for the next 5 days and the long range models (which are by no means accurate) are showing lots of activity. Nothing to cancel over just yet, but the predictions of an active season are looking more and more correct.

    ***Official September 2020 Thread***

I am so glad that Disney is keeping the day in advance cancellation policy for the rest of the year because the tropics are not looking kind.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

I would think it'd be one of their top priorities since it's insanely profitable.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

Would be very exciting to see shows return. Definitely would lessen the blow of having to pay the same price and provide some glorious A/C for the last few hot months of the year.

Unfortunately, Islands of the Caribbean is now closed. This is confirmed by the booth menu page on the Disney website being modified.

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

Just got confirmation a few minutes ago from my TA of my shortened trip dates. Cursed myself. Honestly if I even see a blip in the Atlantic on the long range models week before I go, I'm cancelling. The appeal, despite the low crowds, is dwindling more and more.
