As an FYI, we tried to do the quick service into three snacks change at the UK tea shop to buy candy bars. They said they were not able to do that there. We were able to use regular snack credits for candy bars. In Germany, caramel kluche had no problem letting us do the swap.

Ate at Boma this week for our third time. Last time was about six years ago. Wouldn't do it again. The side dishes were good. Desserts were okay. But it seemed like the quality of the main meats has slipped.

I would look at the menus for all the restaurants at AKL to see if you want to switch from Sanaa to the Boma buffet or the pricier and if you are on the dining plan double credit Jiko. AKL and Kidani are close enough for that not to be a reason to switch IMO. Also, you can view the animals...

I mean that with hot and cold running giraffes, zebras, emus, etc. that it is like the place is always changing. The theme is of course always animal kingdom lodge, but the view varies all day and night long.

I think since the theme is always changing at AKL due to the changing views of the Savanah, it can't possibly be more boring than CBR. Not to mention I would pick a deluxe over a mod any day.

We prefer 50's for the food and the atmosphere. We are not big movie buffs though, so that is one reason we don't like Sci Fi as much. Another thing to consider is that since you are not on the dining plan, you may want to share a meal and it is quite easy to do so at 50's. The fried chicken...

We like to relax in the room and not head out till mid/late afternoon. Does anyone know what time mousekeeping works till? We are used to cruises where if you are not out by noon to oneish, the room does not get made up. Don't want to miss getting our room made up at AKL.
