Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

Agreed, this should work (and has for me in the past as well)! I would download the pictures quickly though. AP PhotoPass photos last a year. Regular PhotoPass photos only last 45 days. IDK if it will will be smart enough to keep the non-AP timeframe photos for a year.

All About Fixed Weeks (RIV/CCV/AUL/VGF/POLY Charts)

You get the full value of the contract purchased (110 points in your example) if you cancel the Favorite Week. You can also just use the points BEFORE the Favorite Week is booked by MS and you will see the entire contract (110 points again) in your dashboard. Many don't understand how the...

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

That is a great point! That BLT/CR breezeway is VERY windy!

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

I'm thinking they may just be openings where guests can watch the fireworks? Kinda how you can see the savanna from communal hallways at AKL/AKV or go out on every floor of CR and watch the fireworks? All the standard view people can cram these areas across the hall :rotfl2:

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

Bungalows and cabins were also included in the 90 day FP+ program. I am hoping/wondering if Disney tiers resort guests and allows different numbers of selections based on value, moderate, and deluxe. Nice that DVC gets all the deluxe perks!

    Tiana’s Bayou AP Preview?

Tron "soft opened" 3/20 - 4/2 for limited days/hours after previews ended leading up to the actual opening on 4/4. That could also happen for Tiana.

Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

Another DP here... I purchased $75 in DGC and it did NOT trigger my bonus. I waited days and nothing. It just said "progress details are currently unavailable, please try again later" so I was hoping it may have been delayed. I placed an actual merchandise order since I held off in the event...

Disney's GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT & SPA Information & Questions + Construction Updates

You are correct, Sugarloaf does not have theme park view rooms. All the other outer buildings should though. I think GF is one of the easier resorts with the room category changes. garden became resort (inside courtyard/pool/resort facing rooms), lagoon became water (outside facing Seven Seas...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

WDW started implementing this updated system rather than the manual bag check in 2020 with Disney Spring. It then moved to AK and eventually every park. You probably experienced it during your 2021 and/or 2022 trip. The only time a bag is now manually checked is if someone sets off the machine...

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

I don't think Disney will ever block access to resort dining from outside guests. The Poly DVC kiosk is in a prime spot on your way to Captain Cook's, Trader Sam's, or the stairway to Kona, 'Ohana, and Tambu. If one guest tours the new tower after drinking an "Uh-Oa" Disney will be very happy...

All About Fixed Weeks (RIV/CCV/AUL/VGF/POLY Charts)

Are you going to actually use the Favorite Week? Or do you just want it as an insurance policy if/when you sell? If you plan on booking the week yourself anyway with something like banked points I would just lump it together (135 + 15) and get the 150. It won't matter how many points are stuck...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

Ahh yes, that's it! It's true! I did like Shrek so I guess I can say that was something good he did :rotfl2:

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

I remember watching Howard on Disney+ when Ashman explained Part of Your World was integral for the audience to understand the storyline following musical theater progression and Katzenberg wanted to cut it numerous times. :sad2:

I couldn't even tell you WHAT the main song was called. I know they were all singing it at the end, but it just didn't resonate with me.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

That explains why it legit sounded like they were just speaking over music at certain points! They lyrics weren't even good. Poor Ariana DeBose... she does musicals and can actually sing! IDK that Chris Pine is known for his vocals. I think Moana and Encanto both had great soundtracks. Instant...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

I had seen a lot of rumors that the Casita attraction would be an omnimover like Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, but after the models were shown on Instagram I am seeing "guesses" that it could be like Mystic Manor based on the elevation of Casita? IDK that WDW would invest that...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

I don't want to get too far off topic, but is anyone concerned about Moana 2 going from a Disney+ release to theatrical release and not having Lin Manuel Miranda attached? I watched Wish for the first time this week and wow... those songs were legit terrible. Disney Channel originals have better...

Ideas for Names for the new Poly

I love Stitch, but I have a feeling there will be a strong Moana influence considering the splash pad is a manta ray. Tamatoa Tower? I can see the promotional materials now. The brightest thing that glitters on the Seven Seas Lagoon! Just kidding, but I still think the rooms will have a Moana...

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

I am probably in the minority, but I would be tempted by a Poly Resort Studio (aka hotel room) with 2 dedicated beds.

Let's speculate about Polynesian some more!

Poly is definitely further and it's harder to make out structures during the day, but it really shines at night with the fireworks. The position on the lagoon centers the castle best, especially for things like Christmas Party fireworks, 4th of July fireworks, etc. Disney could easily label them...
