16 year teens to park alone?

I can tell you that in our MouseTeens.com community there are plenty of kids who not only manage the parks alone, they handle planning entire trips alone. Huge numbers of teens travel to WDW on school trips, cheer trips, dance trips, and many do it without their parents joining them. No one...

    Space mountain with lights on

The College Program routinely raffles off the opportunity to ride with the lights on. It is also a tradition for Tomorrowland CPs to ride together with the lights on at the end of their program.

Policy Change Re: College Program Hours

Wow, I'm glad this wasn't in effect when I did my program. I didn't give away many shifts unless my family was visiting but having the option was nice if it was needed for other reasons.

Which park is least terrible on a level 10 day?

There are no 10's around Thanksgiving unless you would call the Christmas/New Year crowds 13s. Unlike Christmas/New Years, Thanksgiving crowds are quite manageable with a decent plan.

New Magic Kingdom Welcome Show & Main Street Opening UPDATE: Page 15 - Post #281

I have not seen the show in person yet but based on the videos, quite underwhelming. The train station show, music/dancing is very popular. The same show, minus the train, with characters entering from backstage would have been fine.

Help me understand WDW during Thanksgiving..................

Having travelled to WDW many times during Thanksgiving Week and having worked in the MK over Christmas, I can say there are no 10's around Thanksgiving unless you want to call the Christmas crowds 15s. Thanksgiving is very manageable. Christmas is insanity.

It would be impossible for me to pick but I can agree with you in saying that A Bug's Life is super underrated!

how long are you willing to stand in a line?

My dad has always been pretty firm about 20 minutes max but we have stretched to 30 a time or two. This rule has never prevented us from riding anything we wanted to ride. You just need to know when to do it.

    Line holders

I have to say this must be a growing problem because we see this thread much more often now. We covered this particular type on our site along with a few others! http://mouseteens.com/creepers-pros-and-smooth-criminals-who-you-meet-in-line-at-the-disney-parks/

Anyone concerned about the "mosquito" talk?

After the way Disney made their crocodilian characters disappear lately this guy is praying there are no Zika cases at WDW.

    Rapunzel's Tower

Just restrooms but it is a really nice area full of photo opportunities. There are also a bunch of hidden Pascals you can have a good time trying to find. I've seen estimates of anywhere from 10 to 23 depending on the source. Enjoy your trip to the toilet!

    Water socks for water parks?

Between shade and the misters you shouldn't have much trouble with hot sidewalks. Also, I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that if a slide requires you to take your water socks off you can go down the slide with them in your hand. I'm pretty sure I've seen that.

Video or gator at Splash Mountain....is this ride and other water rides safe?

If you came here asking if it was safe to wade in the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake you would likely find a lot of differing opinions with many people saying they still would not hesitate to do so if it were permitted. At least it would be a discussion. You asked if you were safe...
