    2022 cruise release?

i'm really disappointed they didn't cancel the end-of-summer Alaska cruises (which i'm booked on) before this release. i'm still 90% sure they won't be sailing, but now i have to move to 2022 (without the 125% i was hoping for) in order to not be locked out of 2022 altogether by the time my...

    Southwest Flights Open

my trick for southwest (though i travel solo, so it's a little easier to coordinate), is i book each way separately, and then it makes it MUCH easier to keep track of what i paid (in $ or points) for each leg, then i continually check to see if prices have dropped. i booked a flight for 3/6/20...

Spots Available in Private HHN RIP Tour on 10/3/2019 (FULL)

i ended up signing up for a public one on 10/10, but i'd still jump on a 10/11 if it showed up :) otherwise, i'll probably be getting express, and hoping that's good enough for the friday of columbus day weekend.

    AP Discount Watch and FAQ 2023. 10% - 40% off select nights July 11 - Sept 28; Oct 2 - Dec 25

i think they just released a bunch of rooms- i was able to downgrade rooms at riverside over columbus day weekend, and 10/12-10/16 also showed availability (with the AP discount) at French Quarter for the first time since i booked my trip.

    Printed Documents Verses Electronic

i definitely like to keep a hard-copy of everything- i generally prefer electronic for efficiency & saving paper, but when i'm traveling, i like to plan for the worst case scenario and always keep printed confirmations of everything. also, i tend to get flustered or tired after long travel days...

LOL. i just thought there was yet another place to get secret treats from (like behind the glass at cove cafe). that sounds delicious though- thanks for the idea!

    Official 2019 HHN-29 Thread

i will say, last year was my first HHN experience, and i was going solo for only one night, and i booked the public RIP tour just so i wouldn't have to go through everything alone. the whole night was amazing and i don't think my expectations for HHN in general were low, but the RIP experience...

    Official 2019 HHN-29 Thread

the public RIP tour hits up each house once. the private RIP tour can go to whichever houses you want, however many times you want, in the allotted time (i believe) the 6-house tour you saw may have been about the daytime tour where you see the houses with the lights on- there's a 6-house...

    Cruising on ACTUAL Halloween

i'm booked on a 10/27 out of NYC this year, and halloween day we're in WDW, so no one will be on the ship. the day before is castway cay, and the day after is already designated pirate night, so everyone's thinking it'll be the 10/29 sea day, but even disney hasn't confirmed that by phone yet.

    Platform 9 3/4 Ticket

i agree and think the best time would be right when getting on the train- but it might be easier to just remind the kids they have to "show" their tickets when boarding, instead of actually having anyone "take" the tickets. i bet any enthusiastic employees would gladly play along, and you can...

Tell me the wonderful things about cruising alone. Tell me the horrible things about cruising alone.

lol i almost edited my post to say the thing that would be considered most 'horrible' is the price. my 2 disney cruises have been my only cruises so far (both within the last year), and the price wasn't great when comparing to other lines (particularly NCL which goes out of NY and has their...
