Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

"Guest Relations" refers to the locations outside and inside the four main theme parks as well as the Disney Springs welcome center location. Ticket windows are outside the four main theme parks as well as the water parks. I would not trust a resort Guest Services location to activate AP...

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

That's because there's a significant procedural difference between upgrading to a new pass and 'upgrading' to a renewal... The difference being that there's an established procedure for the former and not the latter. :rotfl:

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

You should have no trouble doing this, since it's an established business rule to allow upgrades to APs even if the ticket being upgraded was used during block-out periods and ticket booth CMs are even trained to use this rule to help sell more APs.

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

Any ticket window or Guest Relations will be able to help. Just tell them you have an annual pass on a payment contract and you want to pay it off in full using Disney gift cards. A ticket window CM will have to call a coordinator to log into the right system, but may still have a shorter wait...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

You can renew via the payment plan online (you will have to put a valid credit card for monthly payments AND the first month's payment will be charged within 24 hours of the transaction to that card), and pay it off anytime you like. We can accept Disney gift cards for a contract pay-off at the...

FL resident needs 5 days of tickets

The Weekday Select pass is a great AP if it works for your usage patterns! Weekends are too busy anyway. :scared: I didn't use it in my comparisons because OP didn't mention when they were going, but it's definitely the most affordable option here if it would work for them.

    DCP Vacation Time

Did she mention this trip during her interview? The chance of a CP getting two weeks off approved during their program is slim. The way time off works at WDW is that full time cast members put in a "vacation bid" for the next year towards the end of the current year (we're doing this for 2019...

FL resident needs 5 days of tickets

I'm guessing the OP is referencing the discounted Florida Resident Disney Select tickets. Assuming my above guess is correct and you are referencing the discounted Florida Resident Disney Select tickets, no, you wouldn't be able to add a 5th day at the discount. Those tickets come in 3 days...

    Disney World for Spanish speakers

Spanish is widely spoken in the state of Florida and a huge number of CMs speak Spanish as a first or second language. Not all of them wear the language button on their name tags, either. Despite not being bilingual, I can ask someone in Spanish what parks they want to visit and how old their...

    Upgrading from Silver to Gold

Yes, upgrades done partway through your AP year are the full price difference between the two passes.

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

There are no changes at this time to annual pass certificates that I am aware of.

New ticket system coming to WDW - Begins October 16th

I'm not allowed to tell you the answer to this question until after the new system goes live. If you remind me then, I'll explain! Old tickets sold anytime at all prior to the change to date-based pricing will still follow whatever original rules applied to them. No one knows anything...

    AP Pricing Concerns

What Disney's future plans are for WDW APs is far beyond my pay grade, but I can't imagine they'd receive any positive response whatsoever to replacing the Silver pass. The "Theme Park Select Pass" has, so far, been wildly unpopular.

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

There will be, just with a couple more options that will change things a bit, but unfortunately I'm not able to offer specific info at this time.

I'm really looking forward to getting to learn how this works on our end. :headache:

    All Star Movies Renovations

I just checked into Movies for a night and for a refurbished room. It’s pretty nice, I really like the bathroom area. The pull-down bed is a nice touch.

    Bad AP renewal experience

As I've said here before, applying a ticket towards an AP renewal is not a standard procedure, not something that's in our operating guides, and not anything that any CM is trained in how to do. It's not against any rules, but there's literally no reason why any given CM should know how to do...

    military salute tickets...

The official policy is that every member of the party needs to be present to activate military tickets. Whether any given cast member follows that policy is going to depend on them. Feel free to ask, but please don’t get upset if you get a cast member who follows the rules.

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

It depends on what’s being upgraded to. For going to an annual pass, the bridging is done to pre-arrival price. For adding days/options, the bridging is done to gate price. The reason for this is that there is no pre-arrival discount for annual passes, so there’s no need to make up for it.
