    Meeting the characters

We never really wait in line to meet characters. We usually do character meals. Our favorites are 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's for character interaction!

Castles, Shoes, and Bibbidi Bobbidi "I Dos"- Our Wedding Week!

Hi everyone! This is my first time writing a trip report, so be patient with me please! We were in Disney for 8 days/9 nights for our wedding trip. I'll link back as I begin writing each day. Our wedding was on day 4, so stay tuned! August 11- Airport & arrival August 12- 'Ohana means family...

    Polynesian Resort Stay

We are hopefully renting DVC for next November at the Polynesian for our (kind of) one year anniversary trip! I am just waiting to confirm next month if we get it or not! We are honestly kind of parked-out because all of our vacations have been from early AM to late PM in the parks. We will...

    Your favorite "extra" event?

We got married in Disney- does that count?! :love2: All kidding aside- we did the MNSSHP dessert party and loved it! I hate being elbow to elbow with people watching fireworks- this was the perfect way to avoid that!

    Letter of Agreement: Photography Question

I would have your sales consultant make the swap before you sign it. They are only going to send you a new one to sign after you make it anyways... might as well save the time. Congrats on the Disney wedding... ours was a magical experience :)

    Thinking of skipping AK

If my husband wasn't such a huge fan of AK, I would skip it every trip. The only thing I really enjoy is the Lion King show... I can see animals at home. Enjoy your trip!

Which is better? EMM or Dessert Party

The HEA DP was the highlight of our wedding trip. However, I hate being elbow to elbow with people watching fireworks and would have paid the amount I paid for the dessert party just to not be sharing my personal space with other people during the fireworks.

Christmas Week - Booked all my FP+ Yay!

Yay! We went Christmas week two years ago, and it was my favorite trip ever!

Candelight Processional, is it worth it?

We did the dining package for it with Coral Reef. I was glad we did it once, but I don't know if I would do it again.

    Thoughts on Fireworks

I must be the odd one out here. I would much prefer Illuminations to the Star Wars fireworks. It might be your last chance given the lost sponsorship. I think they will be getting a new show soon.

    First trip?!

We are getting married in Disney World next August and are postponing our honeymoon to the following summer as we will be in Disney after the wedding. We both love traveling and hope to do many ABD. However, I am thinking our first one is going to be the Southern California trip as our...

New to DIS, but not to Disney

Hey there! :) You will love the boards. I love Disney and have been there a few times growing up but always love learning new things about it!

    Disney Honeymoon

I highly, highly, highly recommend Randy if you want to do a resort session. :) He really let us be ourselves, and when I got my pictures back, they were a great reflection of us. With DFAP, I agree with PP about all of them looking staged. However, if the in park photos in the parks are...

    Torn on FP+ at Epcot

For those who have a small child who loves Frozen, I would highly recommend it. However, as adults, it was a one and done for us. I'm glad we did it once, but it's not something you have to see right away, and I'm sure crowds will be dying down eventually for it so it's a normal wait.

    BOG Breakfast or Lunch?

It does look a little different. We had to pay at the restaurant when we got there, not from an app. I know with BOG there was a cut-off as well for when you can place orders. I didn't see a mention of that in this article. I wasn't aware that they were different haha I guess I just assumed...

    Alternative to park shoots?

We are getting married in Disney in 2018 and were one of the last people that were able to snag the "Mini Wishes" package. I love the idea of a park shoot, but I am not a fan of Disney photography at all. It all just looks so posed to me, and I feel like every bride gets the same photos back...

Candlelight Processional: Early vs Late Show - Pros/Cons

We did the later processional. We were able to take our time with dinner and do everything we wanted in the park. However, seating for Illuminations is sometimes crazy, and we skipped it after the processional and went back to our resort.

    Torn on FP+ at Epcot

We FP+ FEA the last time we were there. I was disappointed in the ride, and we will probably never FP or ride it again honestly. If you are bringing a friend who's never been, I would 100% FP TT and save FEA for a future trip if the standby lines are crazy. We didn't get to ride TT as we were...

    BOG Breakfast or Lunch?

BOG was the first restaurant they did this with! :) My fiance didn't care for it as he is a "pick out my food on the spot" kind of person, but you skip MAJOR lines if you order ahead of time. You just check in, get your rose, and take your seat. They bring the food right out. If you don't...

    Disney Honeymoon

Hey there! I'm getting married in Disney in 2018 :). Congrats! You can do photos if you are not getting married in Disney in wedding attire. There are SO many other options, though. Randy Chapman did our engagement photos at the GF, and we got tons of amazing ones with the castle in the...
