We did this. We booked the latest reservation we could and then asked if we could stay even though Lamplight was closing. They said yes and we were able to move tables closer to the show that were empty. They do not do much standby seating that late, so have a reservation!

There is no real etiquette. You did nothing wrong. If there is etiquette maybe hotels should post the etiquette in the laundry area, otherwise, you were there first and you were not done.

Did you have to change your reservation to a different room category to get the deal? My travel agent said it had to be a new reservation and there were no rooms in my room category, so I had to switch to a different category to get a small amount of savings. Any insights?

I saw a review video of the drink from Disney Duoo and they thought it was really strong and the slushy melted quickly in the heat. They said if you like your drinks strong, the slushy is the thing to get.

It depends where you are in the hotel. If your room is near the Napa Rose elevator then the DCA route is faster.

We will need to try it this trip. We are there for 10 days, so we have plenty of time to experiment. My guess is if you are looking to get quickly to Carsland, the front entrance may be better than the hotel entrance? Just based on your description of where the CM led you.
