Parks will be closed for Ian

Did anyone ride river adventure? I saw it had a queue. Anyone who did ride, could you tell there was a big hole in the building, or I wonder if they out some blackout covers on the inside? Was there any sunlight leakage?

    Disney should increase prices

wow, original post comes across as very self entitled, I've paid more money therefore I'm entitled to more than you. This is how most of the world works, you pay more you get more, however Disney has always tried to advertise as a destination for every family but their practices do not match...

Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

Hi everyone, could I ask for some help? If I purchased a three day base ticket, can I pay on the day for park hopping for one of the days? I would like to park hop on one of the days but not all of them. Looking to see if I can save some money. Thank you :)

    Show me your paddleboard photos!

Another trip in the UK was to Tynemouth in Devon, you'll see the sand here is a dark red colour due to the cliffs. My friend Justine was with me in a kayak. I had my usual Bluefin board. Weather was warm, but wetsuit was chosen because of the sea temperature. Chilly!

The canal boats, they're basically campervans but on the water, I know a couple that live on one, and a friend who has one for holidays. They're awesome. They do go under their own steam, usually have a diesel engine in them. Yes I'm the stripy sleeves one, haha, it was a good day. Thanks...

I'm lucky to be part of a paddle boarding group in my local area. These photos are from a Christmas Canal paddle we did, we started in a pub, paddled 10km and finished in a pub. The theme was Christmas outfits, lots of happy children on the toe-path that morning.

ryno's visual descriptions for the podcast listener

Love Ryno and Craig! They have such good chat and are a great listen while I'm on my runs, they are often so funny that I end up laughing out loud while jogging. I get some very strange looks! May they continue to make quality content

A trip to the Isle of Wight, the weather was fantastic, however sea temperature averages about 16 degC in the UK, so this was still a wetsuit paddle and swim. Same Bluefin board as before, a 5km shore paddle.

Only fair if I go first, in August I took a paddle down a stretch of canal in lovely Wiltshire, I was able to get free on-road parking and entered via a lock. The stretch of canal I chose had no lock's for over 10km, I ended up doing 11km as a there and back with a cheeky rest on a bench half...

    Show me your paddleboard photos!

Hi everyone! I'm in the UK and due to the pandemic restricting overseas travel I chose instead to stay in merry old England in 2021 and visit lots of different places to paddleboard. This got me thinking, as most of the Dis are based in the US but also all over the world, I'd love to start a...

    I miss Michael Eisner

I had some fun writing this :) Eisner's 'good' decisions 1984 - 1994 (approx.): When he joined the company it was in really bad shape, the movies were not doing well, only the parks were mostly profitable He started the Touchstone live action films which started making profits This allowed...

    I miss Michael Eisner

There is a great book called 'Disney War' by James B Stewart, very readable and goes through Eisner's full time at Disney. It is very critical of Eisner but if you take the writing with a pinch of salt I found it a very enjoyable read. It goes through all of Eisner's decisions.

    Rix Flix and other vloggers

Gotta say my fave for universal food reviews are Craig and Ryno from the Dis Universal, but that's technically a podcast. :) Used to watch a lot of Tim Tracker and still do watch some of his videos when he goes to the parks but his channel seems a lot more family vlog rather than park vlog...

    Bag suggestions for first timer

And some photos of the incredible hulk, these are smaller letter box style lockers, although you can see they do have larger ones too, but i've found even the smaller letterbox lockers are quite deep and can fit a small backpack (not a stuffed backpack). :-) Also you can have as many lockers as...

    Bag suggestions for first timer

I also say a small backpack will work really well! I remember the Incredible Hulk lockers being the smallest but i could fit my smaller backpack inside easily. I borrowed some information from the internet which should help! three different sizes: Forbidden Journey’s lockers are standard-sized...
