Never thought I'd be debating drive vs fly

I too live in PA and drive to Lorton for the auto rain. Very relaxing. The kids may enjoy it! It's great having your own car and not worrying about weight of suitcases!

    Help. Airport troubles

I too had the same experience at MCO. I have 2 bad knees and a bad hip. I am fortunate that I can drive to Virginia and take the auto train. I have MY ECV in the back of my SUV and do not have to walk through an airport nor wait for wheelchair assist if taking a connecting flight. (Charlotte is...

    ECV Carrier

I found something online to attach to the trailer. You can rotate it. Pricey at $90 but probably cheaper than a ticket!

    ECV Carrier

It’s not a trailer but rather a rack that attaches to my trailer hitch.

    ECV Carrier

I just had an ECV carrier installed on the back of my car. It's one that folds up against the back when not in use. But it covers the license plate. How do you all handle this? Should I try to move the license plate up into the window? Will I get pulled over by police?

How Many Drops in Guardians of the Galaxy?

I am a big chicken when it comes to roller coasters. I can do SDMT but not Space Mountain. How does GOG compare? How many drops are there?

    Hoop De Do Seating

I just booked for our trip in December. The only thing open was the balcony tier 3 seating. Can you see everything from up there? I've done it from the main floor but never from way up in the balcony.

Thanks all! You’ve answered my questions!

    Magic Band holder?

Apologize for vague subject. Trying to think of what the gadgets are called that one could use instead of band for magic band. You remove center of magic band and put in the ‘thingy’. Wondering if this would work with the new magic bands coming out.

    All about the Autotrain

I rode the auto train to and from Sanford recently. I live in Eastern PA. Took the 81 route down to Lorton and the 95 corridor back. Hands down 81was the better way to go. GPS route home didn't 'see' the 81 route. No manor issues with 95 but traffic was heavy. Will investigate and plan trip home...

    All about the Autotrain

Thank you all for your feedback. I called Amtrak to double check if my vehicle would qualify for the standard rate. It didn't. It was 1 inch over the allowed rate. So I changed my vehicle reservation to the extended. More dollars but at least now I know my vehicle is ok.

Using an ECV in a rainstorm

I always pack a clear 30gal garbage bag to use to cover the tiller. A poncho over the seat works for that. Clear garbage bag allows you to set the controls and operate them.

    Interested in buying scooter

On occasion the battery doesn't last. Last trip I had a brand new ECV with a brand new battery. It clearly had problems when the charger showed a green light but the tiller display showed yellow. Gold swapped things out and then I was able to run all day. I do turn it off when at a stop and if...

    Interested in buying scooter

I travel alone and use an ECV from Gold Mobility when there, a GoGo 3 wheel ECV. I lift the seat out, remove the battery, drop the tiller, unlock the brake.. I get the front wheel as close to the rear bumper as possible and lift the front end onto the rear bumper. Then I lift the rear and put...

    All about the Autotrain

Thank you so much. I’m very familiar with 81. Used to take that to drive to Georgia. Your route seems like a great alternative to 95 and the Beltway.

    All about the Autotrain

I'm driving from the Lehigh Valley in PA. I plan on avoiding the 95 route as much as I can. But the 81 to 15 route does take me onto the outer loop of the Beltway. I'd be leaving around 8am on a Saturday. Will I experience any issues on a Saturday around noon on the Beltway. Can anyone recommend...
