    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

I grew up watching The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (which I still love and watch every now and then). I wish whoever is in charge of the characters at MNSSHP would give a little nod to that show and dress Tigger up as the Masked Offender. I don’t think many people would realize what he was...

Walking distance from the farthest room to the lobby for each resort?

I am staying at BWV for the first time in September, and I am definitely nervous about the hallways. I am still traumatized from getting lost in the Kidani hallways after doing laundry, and would rather not go through again. Having to get rescued by a castmember because you have been wandering...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Exactly! I was afraid my comment came across as snarky (the “you might be surprised” part) but I genuinely meant it because I know that when I started this job, I was surprised at the vacations the applicants were taking lol

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

You may be surprised to hear this, but I am a caseworker at a state assistance office, and I have multiple families in my caseload who go to the Disney and Universal at least once a year. A few of my coworkers, however, can’t afford to go. So I think the crowds are economically diverse, and...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

My daughter has never gotten the DAS because she was always too embarrassed to ask for it, but she definitely would benefit from it because the heat and all the walking causes her blood sugar to go crazy. When she was 6, her blood sugar went too low and she actually had a seizure and fell in to...

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

It’s just a matter of time before Hank and Gerald start a club called Mailmen Against Disney Vacation Planning Enthusiasts. And could we honestly blame them? lol

lol I am glad I am not the only one!! Today I was in the kitchen making tea when I heard what sounded like Yosemite Sam muttering obscenities in my driveway so I looked outside and there was good old Gerald lol

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

Less than 4 weeks! I am sure my mailman (Gerald) can’t wait for my trip to be over…I swear I get packages everyday in the mail for this trip. My mailman hates getting out of his vehicle, but he has to put the packages on my porch since they obviously don’t fit in the mailbox. This displeases...

Best private transportation from Mco to Disney hotel?

lol yeah I have seen you post this exact message everytime someone mentions them. I am assuming you have some type of alert that lets you know when someone types “gearfusion” which is pretty weird. I also got the impression that you might be from a competing company down there? But honestly, I...

Best private transportation from Mco to Disney hotel?

I booked Gearfusion for my upcoming trip in September (I still can’t believe that is next month). Their prices are really reasonable, they have good reviews, and the person I talked to from there seemed really on top of things :) I used Tony Hinds on previous trips, but I had to find someone...

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

lol that’s how I feel about Nightmare Before Christmas. People LOVE that movie and I just never thought it was anything special, and I am surprised I have not been tarred and feathered for voicing my indifference to it.

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

On the 19th, I applied for the IBCCES Accessibility Card for my daughter (she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 5…she just turned 16) for our upcoming trip. I logged in and saw that she was approved today. I am honestly gobsmacked that she was approved because the only thing I had...

    Best tour for animal lovers?

I am not sure if it is still offered or not, but if the Sense of Africa tour still exists, I would recommend that one. You get to go backstage and pet an Okapi, feed ostriches and giraffes, and make treats and then hide them for the Red River Hogs (it was amazing how fast they could find them).

    ***Official September 2023 Thread***

It is officially less than 100 days until my daughter and I finally come back to the World! We haven’t been since 2021 so we are excited to revisit old favorites (MNSSHP, Food and Wine, and HEA fireworks!) and experience some new things (like Keys to the Kingdom tour since my daughter will be 16...

Official 2023 Halloween Horror Nights 32 (Orlando)

Earlier in the thread, someone had mentioned seeing rumors for Five Nights at Freddy’s as one of the houses this year. I just saw the teaser trailer for the movie that’s coming out this year, and it made me really hopeful that the rumor ends up being true. I think Universal could do something...

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

Just got tickets for me and my daughter for September 12th and September 15th :) I swear I should just add Disney World as an authorized user on my bank acct since I enthusiastically give them so much of my money anyway lol

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

I am so excited about this announcement! I love MNSSHP, and the Boo to You Parade is one of my favorite things in the whole world. My daughter and I plan to be at the September 12th and 15th parties :) Now that they announced the dates for MNSSHP, I am hoping maybe the dessert parties will be...

Official 2023 Halloween Horror Nights 32 (Orlando)

I know they did Creepshow and The Shining a few years ago, but I would LOVE to see more Stephen King representation at HHN. Some of it would be great and not very hard to pull off...like the prom scene from Carrie, a cornfield from Children of the Corn, or something with all the rats from...

Official 2022 HHN 31 - Horror is Universal

Just bought tickets for September 6th and 7th! It's our first time going to HHN so I figured two nights would give us a better chance of seeing and doing everything. I didn't purchase Express Passes yet...I am still on the fence about those.
