    Vodafone and data

We have had free roaming with Three for a few years which has been great, now ended. So last month we had to find an alternative. Looked at Airalo virtual SIM, our Son used them recently in Arizona with no issues. Unfortunately our phones are not compatible. In the end we bought this from...

Has anyone found sensible car hire prices yet?

Never used Lyfts. I have used Uber a few times if I get discount codes, they are generally too expensive where we live, local taxis are far cheaper. Having the app on my phone I took a few screen shots with prices at park opening to give Matt an idea of cost if they decide not to rent. He is...

Has anyone found sensible car hire prices yet?

Matt tried Andy's website, came up with a price of £1,400 so emailed and asked for any better offers(as suggested on DIS), a reply came from someone called Kelly offering Budget Gold (incl 4 drivers and tank of fuel) for £735. I find it odd their website offers silly figures yet they quote lower...

Has anyone found sensible car hire prices yet?

I Last month I picked up from Tampa Waterside rather than the airport cost £350 instead of £1000 at the airport. Matt is going over in Feb so been checking prices for him, Airport £800+ but 20 min Uber north of MCO £450 (£515 less 12% cashback) see if this works...

    How To ESTA

Excellent, not really thought about next year yet. We are considering a year of no planning, just have our passports ready and look for last minute flights, holidays or cruises.

it's done - i cancelled our 3 week summer 2021 trip.....with what's happening with covid, we didn't feel confident enough to hold out any longer...

Thankfully we have nothing booked for next year. We have no interest in booking US or a cruise til at least 2022. I wouldn't be confident for you summer 2021 but like you say hold off for now and see how it goes next year.

**DisVids - Come and Introduce Yourself and Meet Your Fellow UK Dissers**

Long story but we got him settled at the Uni of New Hampshire, turned out to be the wrong course for what he wanted to do so he got a flight home and finished his degree at Lancaster, he then did a masters and a PhD. Moved to Vienna this year to start a 6 year contract, in his words "Assistant...

**DisVids - Come and Introduce Yourself and Meet Your Fellow UK Dissers**

Hi Jeanette, great to see you post again. time flies doesn't it? Married 31 years for us but no Grandchildren yet. Matt is living in Vienna with his Dutch partner so you never know. We rarely go into DisneyWorld anymore, outpriced me years ago, although we did over 40 trips there so it was...

Does anyone ever book flights really late and get them cheaper?

Just checked ours we booked last month, gone up from £340pp to £480pp. Always nice to see them rise after you have bought. On the flip side our cruise has come down, had to cancel and rebook, even after losing the deposit we are still £250 better off.

Does anyone ever book flights really late and get them cheaper?

All depends on time of year, Is it school hols? Are you willing to be very flexible? We have done 1 or 2 last minute but no great savings. Best deals tend to be with Tui, scheduled airlines seem to go up last minute. We also tried to do last minute one Xmas, ended up staying at home, no flights...

Total sticker shock how expensive its gone.

If you want onsite it has to be something to look at, luckily we prefer offsite, doubt we will even go into the Disney parks anytime soon, outpriced me. Offsite last year we got a great 2 bed apartment LBV for £45/nt plus a small resort fee.

Yes we rode almost every ride that was open. No idea how people afford onsite in Florida, gone are the days of Old Key West with free dining for £60/nt.

No problems at all, we collected keys from estate agents across the road from the apartment(before 6pm on a Saturday, not sure about other days) place was very clean, you can see my review Nov 2019 (David) Only negative for some would be thin walls, doesn't bother us. It was 5 min walk to the...

We loved it, after so many years of people telling me it's not as good as Florida, people are ignorant, jump queues, smoke anywhere, ect... we had a fantastic time. many rides better than Florida. Drive was very easy both ways, stayed at Hemel Hempsted on way down, Travelodge £22, drove back...

anyone done the drive from disneyland (or LA in general) to las vegas

We once flew from Vegas to DL, would never do it again. By the time we had driven to airport, dropped car, check in 2 hours before flight, flight time, waited for luggage, bus to car collection, long collection of next car(with nasty staff at Dollar) and driven to DL we could have easily driven...

Total sticker shock how expensive its gone.

I tried comparing and didn't think there was much difference, a burger and fries at DLP was showing at around 15 euro with drink, Magic Kingdom $13.50 but drinks on top are now $3.99 (I find that crazy for a soda) I won't pay table service prices in Disney US so doubt I will in Paris but we will...
