    Hojo v Courtyard

Have stayed in both ( family/2rm suite at Hojo ), and usually the Courtyard is too much $$, it is superior ( newer, outstanding staff, etc ) but not worth the extra $ IMO. I think Hojo may be a better fit.

    Renting a car question

I second the recommendation to sign up for a loyalty program. I joined Dollar Express years ago and love walking by the huge line ups to jump straight into a car and drive away ( stopping along the way ofcourse to verify everything )

Cool Star Wars experience this evening

OMG! that is amazing! I think John Williams is a genius without whom the last 40 years of blockbusters wouldn't be nearly as incredible.

Harbor Blvd Hotel for 6 Guests

When we stayed in Park Vue a few years we did the " 2 room - 2 queens in 1 & 1 queen in the 2nd " room. So it could comfortably sleep 6 as long as everyone is OK sharing a bed.

A few DLR observations from a WDW regular.

I love that the OP shared his review/experiences - it's what forums like this are for. I personally hope they do stay away, and tell as many people as possible to stay away too. Obivously I have selfish reasons....

When in 2019 will Star Wars Open? Add your Thoughts/Opinion.

Either as late as possible ( September ) or try to coincide with the release of Episode IX (9) in May ( the 4th would be awesome ) I voted for May.

    DL Vet Going to DW

I did WDW for the 1st time last year, I was by myself ( obviously really helped keep good pace ), and was able to do the 4 parks in 2 days. Got to MK at opening, stayed until around 4, then over to Epcot until close. Day 2 was opening at AK, and just a couple hours there - only need to hit the...

DLH Cabana food/drink menu and walk from GCH?

Oh, I would totally be doing the cabana if I was staying in one of the hotels, I looked up the prices ( and if correct @ $110/ half day & $180/ full day ), that's totally worth it! it's actually the paying $100/s per night at the DL hotels that would actually hurt, but having done cabanas in...

LAX to DLR - Door to door estimate

Y'all sound like me.... Here's a Tripadvisor post I wrote a couple years ago - Travelled Thursday Feb.13 " OK, I'm back.....while getting in DL by 3 was ambitious, we did make it to Anaheim by 3. Exact timing - touched down about 1:35, off the plane in 5 min, luggage and shuttle to Dollar...

    LAX to HoJo?

I was about to answer your question ( are reviews accurate?, I was going to say YES ) and started to do a little research first..... It appears there are companies trying to confuse travelers, the transportation I've taken is the Disneyland Resort Express formerly operated by Grayline, NOW...

    Help me choose offsite hotel

I've stayed at 3 of those you listed ( Hojo, Camelot, Park Vue ), while I loved the location and free breakfast at Park Vue, Hojo is definitely a nicer place with as mentioned - nicer beds and nicer pools.

No more saving seats for the parade

Agreed! if the parade is 6:45 why not 6:00? or even 6:30?! 6:30 would be awesome, possibly crowd insanity, but that'd be a fun spectator sport....nevermind watching the actual parade, the entertainment would be watching the 6:30 rush for a parade seat! :joker::joker:
