When the resort had two entrances the route varied depending on the entrance used. Now there's only one entrance, only one route.

The village that was knocked down to build Riviera was called Barbados. Once that was gone they renamed Trinidad North as Barbados and also renamed Trinidad South to just Trinidad. The CBR skyliner station is more across the lake from Trinidad.

The doors were there in 2015, so not a recent change.

Assuming that any construction is related to the gondola station or lines (and it's hard to think what else it could be) , then Preferred Rooms wouldn't be affected at all.

Preferred Rooms are the furthest from the gondola station and route.

I'd say that walking to OPR from Trinidad would possibly get you there quicker than the Internal Shuttle (depending on your mobility). Firstly, there's an unknown wait time for the shuttle to arrive (although it runs on a constant loop). Then it would go to Jamaica - Aruba - Martinique - OPR...

We always got the bus from OPR as we always had breakfast at Centretown before heading to the bus stop. The phone app was pretty accurate in showing the wait time for buses, so you could use that to see when a bus is due at both OPR and Jamaica.

I'm guessing it'll be from the Riviera Gondola Station, which is right next to Aruba.
