At 5am, the Wonder is just sailing past Courtenay. Looks like they were able to leave around midnight.

Unless the Arthur Laing bridge is congested with commuter traffic (you can check Google Maps), I vote taxi with 3 people as the price is so close the Canada with the airport surcharge leaving the airport.

When I was younger... I love the 2nd feeding (late dining).
clothes stay cleaner for the show as you haven't eaten yet
don't need to worry about going to bathroom mid show
time for the 3pm afternoon tea to digest on some cruises
extra time to explore the port before the dinner

My fav airport hotel would be the Raddison Vancouver Airport.
Canada Line station (subway) is across the street. You can be downtown in 20 minutes for $4. Super convenient for the airport or the cruise terminal.
Two adjacent malls with two supermarkets
lots of Asian restaurants and two major...
If you visit Grouse Mountain pre/post cruise, they have a free Lumberjack show once you ride the gondola up to the top.

There is no Seattle to Vancouver ferry. You either fly, Amtrak or Greyhound into Vancouver.
In terms of hotels, it depends on your budget. It costs significantly more to staying at the cruise terminal hotels. Blue Horizon is a popular budget hotel for cruisers.
You might need a few extra days to take in all the activities available...
Day 1 => Capilano, Grouse, Gastown, Granville Island, Stanley Park, gardens?
Day 2 => Whistler Day trip?
Day 3 => Victoria and Vancouver Island day trip?
Vancouver Pro's
a better Canadian port than Victoria. You want a few pre/post-cruise days to experience it all.
sail the scenic calm protected waters of South Inside passage that Seattle sailings skip. There's even limited cell coverage in the passage!

The 14 day post-cruise unpaid isolation is the biggest reason holding me back. I can't be away for 3 or 4 weeks from the office.
I so miss my MdDS treatments.
Another cruise line put together this great music video and message on the industry I would like to share.
The talented team on board Caribbean Princess of Akaash D’oro, Jennifer Simser and Daniel Nogueira wrote and produced this beautiful, original song to help show support for the Princess...
I think Princess is very challenged... with travel to Europe restricted 30 days and more regions potentially to come. It's easier for Princess to "reset" and look at a 60 day shutdown for clients and staff. With past issues on the Diamond and Grand, the Princess brand is hurt and needs rebuilding.
For those that sail on that other family cruise line....
In proactive response to the unpredictable circumstances evolving from the global spread of COVID-19 and in an abundance of caution, Princess Cruises announced that it will voluntarily pause global operations of its 18 cruise ships for...
