    Philharmagic question

Thank you for your answer! It will be much better for our family to be prepared that one of their favorite parts is missing. We’ll all still love it but won’t be wondering where the smells are the whole time.

    Philharmagic question

This is a little bit of a silly question. I am a WDW regular but finally got to experience DL and DCA last November. Philharmagic is one of my favorite WDW attractions. I love that champagne smell! When I experienced Philharmagic at DCA, though, there were no smells. Was that just a one off or...

    Covid Curious

We were at WDW 6/8-6/13. Stayed overnight at MCO Hyatt on 6/13 and flew home 6/14. Masked when in airports and flying, in all inside lines and most outdoor lines. Masked outside when in crowds. Took masks off on some rides and while eating indoors. I’m vaxed and double boosted. Kiddo, is vaxed...

Skip preshow for Flight of Passage

Thank you so much everyone for the info and feedback. It would have been so helpful but…. The kid decided they do not want to ride it no matter what this trip so I’m not able to report back how it worked. I hope the thread will be helpful to someone else!

Skip preshow for Flight of Passage

Thank you for your responses! It’s good to know DAS does not skip preshow. Now we won’t waste the time requesting that. Also good to know how the two separate preshow rooms work together with the ride. I will definitely talk with the cast members to see how they can help us and pack headphones...

Skip preshow for Flight of Passage

We are at WDW now. My kid (11) has some anxiety that they manage very well. They really want to ride Flight of Passage but they have bailed on it the two opportunities they’ve had to ride it, once this trip, once last trip. It’s the preshow that gets them. They asked me yesterday if they could...

Disney with a sensory sensitive kiddo?

Of course! And remove the sticker!

Disney with a sensory sensitive kiddo?

All great suggestions. At that age, our sensory sensitive kiddo couldn’t handle the auto flushes of the toilets so we got large square stickers to put over the sensors. If that is also an issue, try that. We also had long mid-day meals in quieter restaurants and made sure to have as much pool...

Artist Point & Topolinos Worth It?

Topolinos breakfast is absolutely worth it. It was the best meal of our February 2022 trip. Artist Point with Storybook Dining, based only on the food, was absolutely not. I had a leather like unseasoned chicken breast. It was awful. The apps were okay but super salty.

    ***Official June 2022 Thread***

FYI, I am using a reservation finder for Sci Fi lunch and dinner reservations on 6/9 and 6/12 and my phone is blowing up with available times. It’s worth checking right now if you want that reservation.

The Rainbow Lounge - LGBT Chit Chat

Goodness, I want all schools to teach this to first graders so that the trans and non-binary kids who don’t hear it at home grow up knowing they are not alone and their identities are valid and their friends hear that too. I am lucky to live in a school district that is inclusive and where these...

    I freaking love Guinea Pigs!

We have two Guinea pigs. I love them but they take up a lot of space and are time consuming to care for. They are herd animals so you should have 2 same sex pigs (or they should be neutered). 2 males together require 9-10 sq feet of cage space. 2 females require 7.5 sq feet minimum. They...

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

It must have been broken. There was a huge difference between the big pool and the smaller pool right next to it one night.

Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

PSA for winter visitors. The big, nice pool with the water slide is not heated. This is likely mentioned elsewhere in this thread but I missed it before we went and found out the hard way.

    ***** February 2022 Thread *****

We got here on 2/11. At the beginning of our week here, all of my group members with park reservations were pre-selected. Starting a few days ago (I’m not sure what day), only I was selected and I have had to choose my party.

    MK or EP

You may want to save EPCOT for a trip in a year or 2 when all the new areas are open and construction walls are down? However, one of the places my almost 11 year old named as a priority for our upcoming trip is the Mission Space play area where she last played when she was 6 or 7. There is...

Oh! It did but this is MearsConnect Express (which I forgot to specify). They advertise a 2 hour before your flight pickup. This is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
