I just got a weekend in December on the first try....very surprised. It's early, 7-10 but weekends seem to always be full so I'm pretty excited. We had so much fun just driving around looking at everyone's decorations this past November I can't wait to take the grandkids.

If you book a cabin at Fort Wilderness after camping there could you park in the grass area outside the parking lots? When we were there in November there must have been 20 different campers parked out there the whole time.

At the risk of sounding like a snob, I think your mom will find more people at Fort Wilderness willing to help her out if she needs directions than the other resorts. Campers in particular tend to take things a little slower and when staying at the resorts it seems like everyone is focused on...
