Are we overdoing food for our trip?

S71 lunch you guys could get an app and one entree and split if you are afraid of being too full by dinner so I think it's actually a good setup. A nice break for the day.

    Need help prioritizing ADR's

July 22 (ADR date 5/22): CRT for 6 (breakfast); TREX for 6 (dinner) (both of these will be crazy hard to get since it's at the beginning of your trip) July 24 (ADR date 5/24 for 6 of us/5/25 for the other 7): B&C for 6 (lunch); HDDR for 13 (dinner) July 25 (ADR date 5/24 for 6 of us/5/25 for the...

WDW Complementary Park Hopper Passes [UPDATED]

I'm not positive with COVID procedures right now but you should be able to update/modify those at guest relations once you are on property as long as you haven't used up the entire ticket.

Does Trattoria al Forno breakfast offer the pastry basket?

In September the pastry basket was not offered but that could have changed by now

    14 Day Trip Plans

2 thoughts I have... That's a lot of MK days so hopefully water parks open and I'd swap the one for HS. I also personally would not do 2 days of AK in a row. I love AK but I'd want to spread it out in the trip. AK is just a more relaxed day for us so it's a semi-break. Hope you have a...

Need reservations for dining in MK now?

We had a wonderful late lunch the first week of September at Skipper's Canteen. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great. We were sat within 5 minutes of checking in.

Adding a day to Thanksgiving trip - should we and if so which one?

Right now 7 day tickets are the max you can purchase so unless you are going to buy a single day ticket on top of your 7 day ticket I'd just chill at AKL.

DVC "Deluxe Studio" villa - breakfasts/snacks you've prepared.

Breakfast - Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles, bagels, english muffins, cereal, eggs and bacon Lunch - sandwiches (pb&j or lunchmeat), hot dogs, mac&cheese cups Dinner - spaghetti and frozen meatballs is surprisingly easy to make with just a microwave - just let the meatballs thaw in the fridge as you...

Room or package payment with gift card(s)??

I do the exact same thing! I pay for the entire trip with gift cards! Even when our May trip was cancelled I had the cards and Disney put the money right back on them and then I used them to book our Sept trip! 5% doesn't sound like much but with a family of 5 it adds up fast! And I don't...

    Sept, October or November?

Oct and May are my absolute favorite times of the year to go. October is so nice with the slightly cooler temps but still can swim. And the Halloween decorations are so fun.

    Amazon Fresh delivery at BWV

I plan on doing an order through Amazon Fresh the day/evening we arrive and meeting the delivery person at bell services area. My question is... will bell services come out with a cart to put everything on and take it to our room if I ask them to? There is no way I can carry cases of water...

Teppan Edo- bring in own food?

We have gotten 3 adult entrees for 2 adults and 2 kids before at Teppan Edo with no issue. However, I think bringing other food in would be frowned upon except baby food for a very young child. Maybe feed him something beforehand and purchase a drink for him at Teppan Edo.

Any tips to get the change reservation button to actually work?

I just used it to change my Oct 30-Nov 8 ressie from ASMo to Pop! It was slow but it worked! $37 more - I added one extra day to my tickets but dropped Park Hopper of course!

Nervous Going For the First Time As A Single Mom..

Do not be afraid to ask any cast member for help! When I've traveled with 3 on my own I always ask a cast member to carry our food tray at QS locations. I need to be making sure the kids are with me and I didn't trust the oldest to carry the tray without getting bumped into and everything...

Sept 2020-First Disney experience for my 7 year old!

If you are wanting to buy stuff ahead of time to spread out the costs you could consider autographs books, glow necklaces/wands, tshirts, hat, sunglasses, fun socks! Also ask your son if he would wear the ears. My boys never would - they'd prefer a hat. Just remember to save some for him to...

Tips for minimizing waiting in line meltdowns?

We have never had a meltdown in line however my 3 year old's meltdown in the middle of Tomorrowland was epic! That one was completely our fault. He was overtired. We were actually leaving the park when the meltdown started b/c he wanted to ride Buzz one more time! We shouldn't have ridden it...

Character Dining for 2 Awkward Adults

I would probably keep Tusker House and Garden Grill for the PPO benefit of Safari and Soarin' but drop the other two. Garden Grill is easy to just wave at the characters and not get up and interact. They usually end up coming by more than once in a meal and even with kids we just wave and...
