Harmonious: how would you rate it?

We have reservations at La Hacienda during Harmonious. I understand it won't be a perfect viewing spot, as it's not dead-center. But to those who have watched from the sides of the lagoon, is it still worth it? Should we eat quickly and then just head outside? We have always loved watching...

Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

This is me, as well. After the last few bumpy months, I'd love to be in any park. Limited experiences or not, we're driving down from Tennessee as soon as they open.

Frequent visitors, what is your typical park day schedule?

Our touring preferences would line up nicely with your resort hopping. We sleep in and get to the parks at 11. Then we head straight for quick service lunch. So, we don't actually do any attractions until around 12. I know many would say that we're missing the shortest lines but we really don't...

    Additional app needed?

TP is amazingly helpful. We use their Lines app in the park for actual wait times vs the posted times by Disney.

    Crowds REALLY large right now?

We were at MK today. Touring Plans projected a level 3 crowd. We waited 7 minutes to board the people mover and twenty minutes for our space mountain fast pass! Lines were long and most FPS were gone by late afternoon. Oddly enough, walkways seemed pretty open. We still had fun, we just cut out...

"Official" 2018 Disney After Hours (DAH) Thread (Now Closed, see New 2019 Thread)

I was the one who mentioned Pooh was closed on 1/30. I don’t think it was for long though. The cast member said something about it being just a few minutes but we weren’t willing to wait.

Last night was a blast! The last 45 minutes of the night were frigid, though! Here’s what we did: Got in at 6. Rode HM and Pirates, then had dinner. At 7:40 we arrived to a pretty empty BTMR and rode six times in a row (once they let us stay on, the rest of the time we got off) including three...

Walked up to the lady holding the DAH sign at 6:00 on the dot. As she was telling us to leave and come back at 7, they began handing out lanyards behind her. We pointed it out and she said, “Oh, well, okay then.” So, we got in right at 6. I’ll report back later!

    Splitsville

We loved it. We like to bowl and there us nothing akin to the experience of Splitsville where we live. So, it still feels very Disney to us (an enhanced experience). It’s worth your time and the food is surprisingly good!

Festival of the Arts is Amazing

Where do these classes take place? Is there any way to know when they happen in advance or do you just have to pick up a brochure when in the park?

    Is park hopping worth it?

When I look at the cost of hoppers, I’d always rather add an extra day (or two) of tickets instead.

We leave for Florida tomorrow at 6 am. We, too, packed winter coats and hats for the next DAH night. It’s the only night of our trip that’s projected to be so cold! Maybe it will change! It sure felt strange packing swimsuits AND scarves!

Anyone know why it's so busy right now?

I just wanted to reassure you. Yesterday’s actual crowd levels, according to Touring Plans, were 5-7s. Although higher than predicted for January, these levels are moderate in my opinion. They line up with the crowds we usually see during our trips in April and May. And I have never felt those...

We have two sets of magic bands for this trip and we were still mailed the hard tickets.

    Toy Story Land

I thought the same thing. Seems more on par with Barnstormer rather than 7DMT. Hope I’m wrong...

DHS with my almost-8 and almost-10 years old girls

I’ve got boys the same ages. I agree with pps to switch the TSMM fp for RNRC. The lines have similar waits but the line for Toy Story is fun with lots to look at. The line for RNRC is mostly concrete walls. Sci-if diner is fun. Even if they don’t enjoy the movie clips, the theming is beautiful...

    Test Track Fastpass car design

It means that you can tap your band just before getting on the ride and still have the car you designed entered into play. What is the minimum age for single rider? I’ve got an 8 year old.

Hoping that the Tangled photopass spot is up and running. Those going Friday, please report back if you notice. I really want one of those pics but my boys hate standing in line for photos!

1 or 2 days at Hollywood Studios

We spend a day and a half there now. So, with the addition of Toy Story, our family would absolutely need two days.
