    MyMagic+ and FastPass+

I passed a co-worker in the hallway and mentioned that I was going to WDW next week. She took her kids two weeks ago and was not happy about her trip at all. She had not idea about FP+ or MDE and hadn't set up anything in advance, and there were a few things they didn't get to do. I didn't...

Pick-a-Pearl in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot

I just found a few really cute cages and bead/pearl lockets on Etsy and bought two - one for my daughter and one for me. I think we'll be fine regardless of the size of the pearl. Best part - they were only $2 and $4.00 each!

    Sketcher's Go Walk question

I'm really happy to see all the positive posts for Go Walks. I have always worn Crocs Mary Janes in the parks and would never do WDW without them. I saw the Go Walks in a shoe outlet and tried them on and loved them. I bought two pair for myself and one pair for my daughter for our trip later...

How many resort guests use EMH?

I booked our FP's for Epcot in the afternoon on the day we're going to MK in the morning for EMH. I'm really torn, but since we're only going for five days and they don't let you book both Soarin' and Test Track on the dame day, I booked Soarin' on the afternoon we start in MK and Test Track...

    My Disney Experience Oops

I also did something stupid on MDE - I accidentally deactivated my account. :crazy2: I went to change my password, and got a notification that I had multiple, old accounts for the same email address. I thought I was fine because I made one account my primary account and deleted the rest...

How many resort guests use EMH?

We stay onsite, and always get park hoppers. We do EMH mornings and love them. In most cases, we hop to another park around lunch, especially MK.

    Need Help with FP+ Strategy

That's how I felt about our MK morning - with EMH, I think we'll be able to do the important things early and have the added treat of Soarin' when we get to Epcot. Thanks- I look forward to hearing how it goes. Have a great trip!

    Need Help with FP+ Strategy

Thanks Mikie - the one day I am really conflicted about is the second day. I do think I'm going to change my FPs to Epcot so we can enjoy the day there and then head over to MK for dinner, parade and fireworks and not have to head back into the park for rides. (We're having dinner at Tony's).

    Need Help with FP+ Strategy

We're going to WDW January 28-February 2. Family of four with park hopper tickets. My original plan was to go to MK on our first day (EMH morning), leave around 1:30 and go to Epcot for the rest of the day, ending with Illuminations. (No Main Street Electrical Parade that night at MK)...

Advice for First Time Trip with Guest in a Scooter

My family of four has been to WDW many times. This time, my sister, her husband and 13 year old daughter will be joining us. My sister has Cystic Fibrosis, and will be renting a scooter because she can't walk very long without getting out of breath or coughing, and she gets tired easily while...

    Dear Parents of Young Children:

We took our son when he was 6 months and he took at least a nap a day -often two - in his stroller. It can work. The other place he'd fall asleep was on the bus ride to and from the resort to a park, and on the ride inside the Epcot Ball.

Super Bowl Dinner and Game Watching Ideas

We will be at WDW over Super Bowl weekend. I'm trying to think of an idea for my husband and son to watch the game on Sunday. My daughter and I will go to MK for the night. One thought is we could all have dinner at 5:00 p.m. at a restaurant in our hotel (the Contemporary) and then the guys...

Your favorite things about Park Hoppers?

We get hoppers for most trips. We're like many others who have already commented - we will go to MK for the morning, and when it gets crowded around lunch time, we head over to Epcot. We don't spend much time in at AK or DS (rarely more than a half day), so we'll spend a morning there (or even...

Magical Express - Expectation Setting for January Trip

Thanks everyone! We'll definitely get something to eat at the airport before we get on the plane then. I like the idea of staying in the airport the first night, but we have the dining plan through the new Stay Play and Dine discount, so I need the night at the hotel for our meals. I will...

Magical Express - Expectation Setting for January Trip

Our flight is due to arrive at 8:20 pm in Orlando, and we're staying at the Contemporary. If we have only carry-on bags and head right to the ME departure area at the airport, can anyone venture a guess on how long it will take to get to the hotel? Is there any chance we'll get to the...

WL Bunk Bed - why is Courtyard view cheaper than woods view?

We stayed in a bunk bed room with a Woods view years ago, and at night we had a view of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. If you're on certain floors, the Woods view rooms have that view, and I think they're considered higher value.

Give me your best infant in wdw advice please!!!

A sling is a good idea, but if it's hot at WDW in September - which it usually is, you might want to use your stroller so both you and your baby don't overheat. I loved my sling, but if it was hot out, it was too hot for me and the baby. I think WDW is great with babies. We took our son...
