Thinking of adding on at Riviera…..questions for those that own there.

We bought a fixed week last year and couldn't be happier. We weren't really considering here until after our first stay then it was an easy decision. Love the skyliner access. Somebody mentioned this earlier and I 100% agree, not as convenient as beach club or boardwalk but the quality of the...

Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

Yah ridiculous pricing from Chicago and Indianapolis. Will have to wait and look at another airline or for the price to drop. This is like $200 more than precious SW flights

    Ketchikan lunch

I second the Alaska fish house. Really good and a great outdoor area to have a drink and see the cruise ships.

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages booking starts10/17

I think they are still adding availability. I've been checking throughout the day and around noon, almost every 20 minute time slot was available for coral reef, then around 4, same for garden grill. At least this is the case for December 4th.

    Late toppolinos breakfast

Yeah, we went to EPCOT early morning then jumped on thr skyliner for a noon reservation. It was great, less people because ince people left, nobody else was being seated. They kept asking too if all the characters have been around which really showed they cared. Food was amazing and service not...

PLEASE,,,,,Stop calling Riviera an EPCOT resort.

Yeah our thoughts were since they had perimeter fireworks for the NYE (eve) show they might have had to clean them up?

PLEASE,,,,,Stop calling Riviera an EPCOT resort.

December 30th last year we were at VGF and left after fireworks were done. Took over one hour because only option was monorail or ferry then walk. BLT would have been only quick option. Just can't judge based on that. Not sure where I stand. I'd almost say riviera is an EPCOT. Most times...

    Topolino's Characters at late breakfast?

We have a 11:55 am reservation booked for a few weeks from now. We wanted to get to the parks first before it got too hot then have a brunch once the heat started to take over. Characters better be there!!

New Holiday Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 Dates Revealed + New Frozen Castle Illumination!

I am very annoyed at this as well. This announcement along with no lights on the castle is a big disappointment. We've been lucky to see the Jingle Jam fireworks a couple different times and they were 'Okay.' Fun for the end of the night if you were around but certainly not, lets hide them...

The Official Riviera Owners & Info Thread

153 points is what is cost to have a fixed week locked in prior to 11 months. That week, if using non fixed points, is regularly (I believe around 146). I like the fact that for sure, we will always have that week but I think at least in the short term, we will rarely use that full week and will...

    Southern California and Disneyland Adventure

What's the typical makeup of families on the non adult only trips? We are booked for next March, leaving kids at home, and they didn't have any adults only options that would fit for us. Is it a mix between adults vs families or is it mostly families with kiddos with them?

The Official Riviera Owners & Info Thread

Just got 153 points (fixed week 43) purchased. we had a difficult time deciding between Poly resale and RR direct. Poly is my favorite resort but the rooms at the Riviera are so much nicer (and soundproof) compared to Poly, that plus we own at VGF and BLT so have MK covered so needed an EPCOT/HS...

Current Magical Beginnings promotion with Direct

I would like to thank/curse this thread for giving me something to think about. So much so that we are considering buying a fixed week at RR because of the magical beginnings offer. We are december use year so we would get those 2022 points which helps bring the cost down significantly. Also...

Glaicer Explorer ?? on DCL Alaska

We are booked on it in early June, we have 3 kids (13, 12, and 7) and decided to leave them on the ship. It is a lot of money and the 7 year old would not enjoy 3 hours of it. The other two would rather hang out with friends and catch glimpses from the tip deck. Plus they'll be on get character...

    WDW Post Cruise

We are thinking of either doing disney before cruise and universal after cruise vs. The opposite. Going to take disney transportation one way and private from/to Universal. Having a hard time deciding which way is more advantageous compared to the other.

Tales of Beedle the Bard @ Wizarding World

Are you sure? I have only ever gotten one. I have read that they had multiple ones, we have seen the same one at least ten times, it's good so not complaining but had always read this but have only ever seen the one.
