    What year 1st trip

My first trip was in 1998 and I was 4 years old. I don't remember too much from it but the memories I do have are very precious to me. Especially riding HM with my dad and being both terrified and amazed.

    Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES RESORT Information & Questions

Just came back from a 6 night stay at ASMo (23-29) so I'd just like to share our experience. It was our first time at this resort (but not our first time at a value). I thought it was great and absolutely would stay again. We were in the Mighty Ducks section, probably one of the furthest rooms...

The Void - minimum age requirement

I think it depends on the specific employee at the front desk. When I went, a family with one boy and one girl were looking to play but the employee asked how old the girl was. She was 9 and they said she wasn't able to do the Star Wars experience. They argued that their son is also 9 and was...

How are Fast Pass Bookings Going?

My FP day was last week. We are a party of 2. I was able to get 7DMT with a bunch of time options at 60+6. There were a couple time options at 60+4 too. I got FOP at 60+5 but there were only slots after 4pm open. Got SDD for the morning of 60+7. No SDD available all day at 60+3 (which was...

    Expedition Everest drop intensity?

For me, it's a completely different experience sitting in the front vs. the back. Riding in the back car did give me a stomach drop feeling and also kind of a g-force feeling? It made me feel a little queasy. I've always found it to be a comfortable ride near the front though, even when going...

    YOUR Top 10...

It changes every trip but for right now: 1. Haunted Mansion 2. Soarin - used to be my number one until the refurb 3. Splash Mountain - climbing up my list, recently rode for the first time in 20 years and loved it! 4. Big Thunder Mountain 5. People Mover 6. Tower of Terror 7. Expedition Everest...

    Your Experience to Reserve FastPasses

I used Chrome today. I didn't bother with my phone and was able to get all my FP selections within 10 minutes. Something interesting to note though. I clicked "get started" right at 7:00 on the dot and it told me I was too early. I kept going back out and into it again and it didn't seem to...

    Slinky Dog Question

I think it's better than 7DMT mainly because the seats are more comfortable but they're on the same level for me. I'll ride with a FP but I'm not that stressed about it. They're both family coasters that don't really appeal much to me. I'd rather go on RNR or a dark ride. SDD has very little...

Avatar Flight of Passage - is it all that?

I'm not a fan of the franchise, but I had a great time on the ride and I appreciated the technology. I wouldn't wait 3 hours for anything, but I think up to 90 minutes is a fair wait for FOP imo. It's not my favorite ride ever but I would be disappointed if we missed it.

    Successful FP Day!

Hi everyone! Today was my FP selection day and I was able to get everything I wanted around the time I wanted it. I was nervous after reading the technical difficulties others were having and I was worried about GE crowds snatching up FPs but my worry was unwarranted because everything went...

    Rose Gold Retirement?

I just got a pair of Millennial pink ears from Shop Disney on clearance for only $15 so I definitely think they're phasing that color out. Didn't see any pink spirit jerseys on clearance though.

Anyone else get the "Disney Rash" on their legs?

I don't get a rash on my legs but maybe that's because I always wear long pants. However, I do always get a rash on my wrists/arms which are exposed. Little red prickley bumps. I always thought it was a reaction to the detergent or something but I guess i'ts just the heat/humidity? I wonder if I...

    Crowds this July

I hear about BOG reservations opening up the week of all the time. I think breakfast might be a little easier to snag too if you're open to it. (and we prefer the breakfast options a bit more tbh)

Magic Band "Aging" and Turning Grey

My bands from 2014 and 2016 were gross by the end of the trip. They looked dull and dirty, probably from everything I touched, sweat, makeup etc. My band from 2018 still looks to be in perfect condition. All of them are the plain pink band. I do think Disney has improved them in my experience.

Living With the Land - Am I missing something?

While it's not my favorite and I wouldn't be upset to skip it, I do find it enjoyable. Anytime we've been on it, there's been no wait and we've had the bench to ourselves. We can relax for a bit while being mildly entertained. If you've never done it, I would recommend it at least once. It has...

    Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES RESORT Information & Questions

I’ve looked up the menu for the pool bar on a few different sites and get different information. Basically, some sites say the pool bar here serves the standard Disney cocktail list plus a few extras. Some other sites don’t mention the standard drink menu here. I’m just trying to figure out if I...

Who else feels the price of Disney is not bad considering what you get

We book value and don't upgrade to park hoppers. For 2 adults, 7 nights and 8 days, plus the cost of the flight, food and souvenirs, we can stay under $3,000. I think that's an amazing value for what we're getting. I compare what we spend on trips/events throughout the year to a day in Disney...

    Where’s our nighttime parade?

Without a nighttime parade, it feels like something really special and important is missing from MK.

I wonder why Disney Parks don't ever tour their characters?

Not sure if they do this anymore but the Disney store in my state used to have occasional character meets for new movies/character birthdays etc.

The older I get, the more terrified I am of rides. Anyone else experiencing this?

When I was 6, after we rode TOT I asked my mom, "That was it....?" I'm still only 24 but now TOT scares the heck out of me. I still love it, but I'm shaky when I get off because of how tense I am while riding. I think it's just because I understand the concept of mortality now aha.
