Wow that's nuts. Both times we went were in the afternoon and we still entered by Starbucks but the crowds were pretty low. In fact, I'm shocked reading through this entire thread as our whole experience was extremely pleasant from hotel to DTD to parks. We must have had great timing.

What? We were there earlier this month and were able to enter and exit at both ends.

We were there for Dapper Day weekend (11/4-11/6). We did Genie+ each day and loved it. Didn't need it before 11 on Friday, and before 10ish on Saturday/Sunday. But I wouldn't have done it any other way because it allowed us to slow down in between rides and enjoy everything else about the parks...

Wow I'm glad I saw this. I guess I just assumed that once the ride went down the ability to book a LL was blocked and that you only got the MEP if you already had a LL booked. And am I reading this right that you can book multiple times on a single down event??? I can't believe these loopholes...

Different strokes for different folks. I went to WDW for the first time in 10 years in 2021 and could write a list 5x that long of what made that experience far worse than any trip I've ever had to DLR.

Question for the OP (or anyone). How do you convert a LL pass when a ride goes down? Is it done on the app or do you have to do it with a CM?

Thanks. That's what I thought. I went to try to add it last week and couldn't find how to do it and that explains why. I guess we should've added it originally. Nothing like another $100 expense added to the trip just for funsies.

This was us as well. Really happy they are moving in the right direction but I'm really sad that we didn't get to do the stretching room or ToT pre-show, had plexiglass on Frozen, Kilimanjaro, etc, and other halfway Covid restrictions that we still in place a week ago.

Seems pretty simple to put up a marker saying that's the point where masks needs to be put back on. And it's 'on your honor' just like it is everywhere in the parks currently. And just like it is when you enter a store in everyday life. No one should expect extreme policing of anything like this.

Yep. I will happily let my two under-12 children be mask free on our June trip if allowed. Not concerned in the slightest. They have both had flu and were fine. Covid is less dangerous than flu at their age. Follow the science.
