    Help me pick a resort?

The only value we've stayed at was ASMu and we loved it. Loved it way better that SSR!

Best restaurant on property if you can only splurge on one?

Boma at AKL, but that's more than $50 for dinner. Sanaa is at AKL is also EXCELLENT. No kidding, the bread service alone (with extra bread) is good enough and filling enough to share as a meal.

    Disney Honeymoon

Do you have any reservations for any of the AKL restaurants? Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko are all EXCELLENT! Boma is our favorite meal and the only dinner buffet we return to.

    Is Star Tours jerky?

My kids have always loved Star Tours. I find it jerky. The movement plus the 3D makes it the only attraction at WDW that makes me motion sick. I have to close my eyes the whole time. My kids love it, so I do it.

pros and cons of dining plan

You really have to do the math for your family. If you are planning to do a lot of character meals or are drawn to the more expensive ts entrees, it might be a good deal for you. Menus and prices are on the website, so take some time to scroll through, come up with an estimate food cost, pad...

    Stroller Rental

We've also had great experiences with Kingdom Strollers. We rent the big special needs stroller every trip. Never done a split stay, but resort drop off and pick up at bell services has been super easy!

    Park hopper and Frozen 2

We are park hopper lovers! But for a short first trip, you probably won't need them. You can't really do a whole park in one day. You could probably spend all 3 days in MK and still not see and do everything! There is so much. My group find value in the hoppers because we all have different...

    Help, so overwhelmed

You're going to have a blast!! If the 3rd day of tickets fits comfortably into your budget, and if you don't think you need a rest day, go for it. If your cruise itinerary is go-go-go and you think it's too much stress, maybe look into a special character meal or other activity at a resort for...

Park hop or not? Please help!

If the hoppers fit comfortably into your budget, I say absolutely get them. I don't think you'll regret having the flexibility during a trip with so many variables - SWGE is the biggest question mark for sure, but you're also navigating around MNSSHP on the weekend before Halloween and F&W at...

    Deleuxe resorts

We rent points for 2 bedroom villas for our group of 7. It works out about the same price as 2 mod studios. It's really not that much more than a value family suite and an extra studio - but we always travel in the least expensive seasons. I think the value of a deluxe comes from what...

    Favorite resort restaurants

AKL has the BEST ts meals - Boma is our favorite Disney meal and Sanaa is a close second. SSR has the best QS at The Artist's Palette. Delicious and plenty of seating inside.

1 table service only-where would you choose?

Our top choice for dinner is always Boma, Sanaa is a very close second. Garden Grill is probably the best dinner character meal we've had and is very comfortable for adults only For breakfast character meal, HIGHLY recommend Tusker House! Great food and fantastic character interactions.

Eat at MK or park hop to Epcot?

We don't hop just to eat. If you want to eat at Epcot, just split the day! MK in the morning then hop to Epcot and spend the rest of the day there.

One table service meal with a 5-year-old boy

Family Style, definitely Garden Grill. If you're willing to reconsider a buffet, Tusker House is phenomenal. We like to go for breakfast. We always have the best character interactions there and the food is very good!

    Sanaa or Boathouse?

I've never been to Boathouse but Sanaa is AWESOME! Sometimes we go and just get the bread service with extra bread and share it as a meal (dh and I). It's really that good. And if you haven't stayed at AKL before, it's so worth a visit! Plan a little time to walk around and enjoy the resort...

    Party of 6...where to stay?

Did you mention what time of year you are traveling? I know you said DVC was out of your budget but I wonder if your travel time is impacting prices and how flexible you can be. We rent DVC points for 2 bedrooms and it usually works out about the same, sometimes actually cheaper, than 2 rooms...

    Need some advice

Someone else already answered the questions, I just wanted to add my own thoughts. Unless she wants to spend a ton of time in the pool, the weather is great in January. And my kids swim no matter what, but for me, even with the heated water, it's chilly to swim in January! My point about the...
