we bought the quick queue online and will be at the park next week. How does using it work? Do we exchange it for a card or a wristband or just use the paper I print out from when I bought it? I’m hoping it’s not just the paper since my daughter will want to get soaked on the water ride. Thanks.

you can plan around show times when you get there. The only thing I’d keep in mind in advance is if there’s a special event like the Hogwarts night show or the Mardis Gras parade or concerts that you want to see.

I’m just ending a trip with express pass at Royal Pacific tomorrow. I love Disney, but the ability to not have to plan my theme park days like a military campaign make Universal just as awesome to me. There’s very little advanced planning needed with express pass.

I’d do that if I had a long trip and I had already eaten at the places I was interested in. If it’s just 2 or 3 days I’d stay in the park. The two Harry Potter restaurants and Simpsons and Mythos are all awesomely themed and add to the park experience without having to lose a lot of park time.

We are flying to Universal in the morning. I REALLY just want to just check forums about Universal all day instead of being productive. Really excited to ride in the parade for the first time tomorrow!

If I was staying onsite I’d start at IOA since it opens earlier for on site guests and you can get to Hogsmeade early. Otherwise, I’d probably start at Diagon Alley too. Be sure to go back to the Potter areas at night. Diagon Alley is lovely at night after the crowds leave.

Is Nintendo not announced? I saw an article in travel and leisure that said it was confirmed but maybe I’m remembering it wrong.

From what I’ve seen it’s almost always only IOA with early admission. The Harry Potter rides have unlimited express pass now so you don’t really need much strategy any more. If you want to walk through the queues for the Potter rides then go first thing in the morning. And the area is lovely and...
