    Help us decide please!

Unfortunately it’s really hard to say which you should do. We’ve done both a few times and they are very different experiences. The Safari Park feels a lot smaller with less to see but I absolutely love tigers so that part is worth the price of admission to me! I have never been impressed by the...

San Diego night time activities for kids?

We are tagging along with my DH on a business trip to SD. I’ve gotten pretty good at entertaining the kids while he’s busy in SD during the day but he has some dinners going on for our trip next month. Any ideas for fun activities for kids at night? Unfortunately it looks like SeaWorld stops...

    Disneyland reveal

How fun! Could you do something with costumes? Gifts or early costume shopping depending on the day? I don’t know if you have a DD or if they’d be into BBB but that was one of my surprises for DD. I took her to BBB before MHP do she got to choose her costume and get dolled up. For my son I...

Halloween Time Superthread 2019: "Oogie Boogie Bash" Party to Be Held in DCA ONLY! and Other Halloween Time Information

Have there been any announcements about how many WoC shows and parades there will be? Still wondering if they will do 2 like at MHP or if it will be only 1.

    surprises at dinner?

We love Goofy’s! We went once for my DD’s birthday. They ask when you make reservations what the occasion is so I told them then. When we were there they brought her out a birthday cupcake which was specially decorated for her and separate from the buffet options. It always seems like WDW has...

    Water refill stations ?

Great tip! Thanks! How does it taste? I know there used to be threads about the water tasting bad at the parks.

Princesses in Disneyland - your experiences?

My DD is all about princesses so I get it! It used to be that the princesses would switch out but our last few trips it seems that it is always Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel. We used to go a couple of times a day so she could see a variety but they never seem to switch it up. The biggest...

Suburb near Anaheim to Trick or Treat in for Aussies?

That sounds so fun! I wish I could help. Halloween door to door trick or treating is still very much a CA thing. A couple of years ago we were in San Diego over Halloween and it was one of our favorite times taking the kids out trick or treating. Hopefully some So.Cal. people will chime in and help!

    Name Art at Disneyland?

I saw the one by the Matterhorn when we were there last fall but sorry no idea on the costs. We were given one as a gift for DD when she was little and we still love it! Ours looks more like the ones I saw at DTD but I never asked where they had it done specifically.

Halloween Time Superthread 2019: "Oogie Boogie Bash" Party to Be Held in DCA ONLY! and Other Halloween Time Information

It really depends on if the extras appeal to you. We’ve done it the last two years and even knowing what to expect it was hard to decide last year. We had a great time and I’m glad we went but it is really expensive for families. I am having the same problem now and leaning against because of...

New Recruits to ‘Suit Up’ Alongside Spider-Man with Cutting-Edge Tech from the NWE at Disneyland

Remember when SW:GE was going to be immersive too? Lots of great releases about that...I’ll believe it when and if it actually is immersive.

    Pixie Hollow questions

We have not seen anyone but Tink on our trips the last couple of years. Before that we used to see her friends every time. I wonder if it’s phased out since the franchise seems to done with movies? Never seen a show either. Just a heads up the line can get really long so if it’s long come back...

Rank Fantasyland Rides for Typically Non-Fantasyland Riders

Peter Pan is my favorite and second is Toad. Skip any ride with a long line and try at a different time. Usually we can get on everything but PP as a walk on. I also think Storybook is best at night. Also Alice actually moves pretty fast when the line looks long.

    Universal Thoughts

Consider checking out the Waterworld show when you go back. I completely agree about all the lines and the sun there! But it was worth it for HP!

Halloween Time Superthread 2019: "Oogie Boogie Bash" Party to Be Held in DCA ONLY! and Other Halloween Time Information

That’s what my DH is always saying too! As someone who likes to move around quickly I can see the appeal of being able to check stuff off the list and move around without waiting for people to keep up!

Halloween Time Superthread 2019: "Oogie Boogie Bash" Party to Be Held in DCA ONLY! and Other Halloween Time Information

I’ve never been alone to Disney but I would think the party would be a lot of fun solo. There’s so much to check out and I found people to be super friendly. I say that as an introvert who wasn’t trying to talk to anyone. We got lots of of compliments on our costumes and chatted with lots of...
