We were there before Christmas and used Amazon Fresh. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Garden Grove and the hotel even placed the groceries in our room for us. Everything was fresh and well packaged. I would recommend Amazon Fresh.

Thanksgiving is great! I did not find it any more crowded than Memorial Day. Have fun!

Last year we did AK on 12/24 and MK on 12/25. We arrived 30 min before park opening and did fine.

I would cancel the resort reservation after you load the DVC reservation into MDE. You should not lose the fast passes. If you want to be extra careful, cancel the resort reservation inside the 30 day window.

I am not a ride chicken and love RNRC. The beginning makes me nervous but I think they designed it that way to build the anticipation. I rode mission space orange one time and almost passed out 3x during the centrifuge part. My knees felt like jelly and I saw spots. Only coughing and clenching...

Magic Kingdom - Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Mickey's Philharmagic. You might even be able to catch a nice breeze on the Peoplemover. We have also taken the monorail to the Poly or Contemporary to hang out and see the gift shops which are all air conditioned...

I don't get motion sick but I felt like I was going to pass out on Mission Space Orange during the 3 high speed spin part. My legs and arms felt all tingly and I was seeing spots.

I just called the resort number and they said the Presidential Units in Building 6 should be "ready" on November 20. I check in on the 22nd and will report back here.

Thanks for checking on Building 6 Librarian Becky. I guess they have two weeks to get it ready for us! We are booked in a 2 Bedroom Presidential and they are only in that building. Enjoy your day off from the parks.

If anyone is there now or checking in soon, can you check on the progress of Building 6 and the pool? The renovation is supposed to be finished in November and I was wondering how far along they were. Thank you!
