    Ride Records?

This is silly, but… Is there a central source of information or a clearinghouse for calculating and determining record number of rides on an attraction? I’m particularly interested in knowing if there is an established record for number of rides on Living with the Land on a single day.

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

I received an email response telling me I have to do the upgrade in person since my current tickets are part of a package I recently purchased. Oh well, I hope the AP sales last at least 6 days

    Is the genie worth it

I've bought Genie+ several times for MK (the only park wheer I find that it makes sense for us). That was all in the good old days of <$20. I seriously doubt I'll pay the new $35 rate when we go again in a couple weeks. My wife and I are okay with standing in a modest line, or just skipping...

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

Thanks! I am just working under the assumption that, like things have always been, you can upgrade existing tix to APs. I do dread having to get tangled up in the Disney phone system to try to do any transaction though. Thanks for the help. If I learn anything elsewhere I will update you as well

    Genie+ Pricing Structure

I'd be surprised if we ever see Genie+ below $25 again. Sales this week have got to make Disney accountants euphoric. The question is on what rare occasions will it drop below the $35 level now. I'd plan for $60+ if I were going to be at WDW during Christmas/NY 2023

Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

Upgrade Question: I have two 5-day hoppers which I'd like to convert into Incredipasses. Our first day is 4/24 but I'm guessing sales of APs might end before then. I guess I'd better try to do the deal online on 4/20. Do I need to call and talk to someone or will the app/site allow me to...

    EPCOT construction

Tomato---tomahto. The pattern is that Disney construction projects take forever

    EPCOT construction

Took 6 years to build Tron. The work at the center of Epcot is more involved, and Disney is notoriously slow with projects in this generation. I expect to see those walls up at least 2-3 more years.

On the way back from a week at WDW (1/23-1/29)

First off, I’m so sorry we brought our standard North Carolina January weather with us. Cold and rainy, cold and cloudy, some wind, and a wink or two of sunshine. Just… yuck. All parks were somewhere between moderately and seriously crowded all week. Not what I expected, but we managed to have...

pixie dust with online check in?

I guess this counts: We did on-line check in and were upgraded from a standard room at Pop Century to a preferred building location close to the food court.

    Offsite strategies

We have a few experiences staying off site since the new pattern has been in effect. Yep, at MK it seems like a good idea to start out in Frontierland (or Liberty Square or Adventureland). We have found Genie+ to be almost essential at MK, but that's a whole other discussion. I don't ropedrop AK...

    Two Breakfast Questions

*pours one out for the old Garden Grill breakfast* The best breakfast doesn't exist anymore. I guess Chef Mickey's or some place like that would do. We do plan to go at a slower pace on days when we do TS breakfasts

QS: do any places have CMs guarding table areas?

When I was at the parks in December (MK, HS, and Epcot) most/all of the QS places had registers open for ordering so you didn't need a mobile order before entering. Seems like maybe Cosmic Rays had someone checking orders, but that was about it

    Rope Dropping Frontierland

Yes, no need to do EE unless you want to start out somewhere else for a few minutes before going to Frontierland

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

I don't know anything. But FWIW today I was able to change my reservation for next week (reducing the stay from 6 nights to 5). As I was doing so I was able to switch to an AP rate for a standard view room. When I booked the trip in December that room rate was not available so I had to book an...

    Non Genie+ Days

When not using G+ I pay no attention to the Genie. I will check wait times on the MDE app

    Purchasing Genie + question

People have different takes on G+. We will use G+ at times, but don't purchase ILL access. For us it is practically useless at Epcot and AK because those parks lack the proper inventory of rides to make G+ viable, meaning that too many guests are vying for too few ride slots at too few...

    Rope Dropping Frontierland

Seems like Frontierland (and to some extent Adventureland) is always delightfully uncrowded for the first couple of hours the park is open. We often times will ride HM and then go to the other two lands. My favorite part of the day! *pro tip*... If you've got time to spare and feel like you...

Is there anyone super excited about their upcoming trip?

My wife, our 22yo son, and me are headed to WDW for a week starting on Monday. First of four week-long trips on deck for 2022, so yeah, I'm excited
