We are first time cruisers going on the Magic later this month. There were several options for Palo brunch & dinner on our booking day. I was pleasantly surprised.

So with Splash Mountain going down for a lengthy refurb/retheme at some point in the future...do you think it will do its “normal” refurb in Jan/Feb 2021? We would really like to ride it again before the retheme so trying to explore our date options.

Yes I have gone to the Ticket page on both the app & the website. I do not see an option to change ticket dates. When I click on the ticket, it will not “select” it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can you change the dates on the MDE app? I’m not seeing the option to do that when I go to my tickets.

My best advice is keep looking. We were able to get 5 FOP FPs the day of. People will change their plans the week of. Keep refreshing & hopefully you will have some luck.

IMO you’re not missing much by skipping NaVi. It’s a pretty ride but not a must do for us. On our last trip, we rope dropped NaVi & then rode Everest 4 times in a row before a line built. Everyone goes to FoP, so you should have Everest to yourself for awhile.

I would do Navi, Everest, Dinosaur, Safari, Giants tour, Tusker House, FOP FP & Tough to be a Bug. Safari may be tight before the Giants tour. You could also do safari w FP after breakfast also. If you skip Navi, you shouldn’t have any trouble doing everything on your list.

They did not allow my 6 yr old to ride with my 8 yr old on 7DMT even if I was in the same car. It may just depend on the CM.

I would avoid RnRC & Space. The rest are much smoother IMO.

When we went recently, we were able to get Splash, Space, HM, Pirates, Princess meet & greet along with other lower priority FP+s. I never saw 7 Dwarves or Big Thunder for a 4th FP+. At other parks, we got Soarin, FOP, EE, RnR & Toy story for 4th FP+s. We are a party of 5 & I was surprised by...

We go to EMH if it works with our schedule...just depends. We do love evening EMHs at MK though. Especially when they are late hours. We have ridden most of the rides in the park with little to no wait each time.

Yes. We had not planned to do FOP at rope drop so it worked great for us. Na’vi was a walk on. Then we walked on Everest 4 times. The park is empty (besides Pandora) for the first couple hours on a EMH day. If you are planning to ride FOP at RD, I would get there a little earlier.

We arrived at EMH recently at 7:20. By the time we made it through bag check & turnstiles, there was already a line. We headed for Na’vi & were finished riding at 7:40. By then the line for FOP was past the Pandora bridge.

Our 5 yr old loved it. She just held the glasses on with one hand.

We went around lunch time last week & waited 20-30 min for Joy & Sadness & 10 min for Baymax.

FWIW, we did not hear any construction noise during our recent CBR stay. I would save the $ if it were me.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised by 4th FP+ availability too. We got Soarin several times, FOP, Everest, RnR, Toy Story, Star Tours, Pirates, Space, Splash. There were lots of options at MK. I never saw one for SDMT or FEA though.

If your kids are into HP, then US is worth doing at least once. The HP areas are done very well. We just did a split stay with Disney & Universal & I would highly recommend changing resorts if you decide to add US. It is very expensive as an “add on” day though.

When searching for a FP+, keep clicking different times until you find the FP+ you want. It doesn’t matter what time you choose, but each time a new list of times or attractions would appear for me.
