Are some Disney rides or attractions, etc mis themed?

Epcot is a world's fair, with Future World being the demonstrations on modern technology and World Showcase showing the nations' pavilions. Obviously, Future World isn't entirely new technologies given things like Soarin' and the Seas, both both are celebrations of either nature or human...

What changes would you like to see in Disney World and Disneyland?

Fix Soarin'! The new movie fits so much better with Epcot, but the warps are just terrible

The Changes Coming to Hollywood Studios and Epcot

This seemed like the most accurate category to post this, but if not, please forgive me. I was hoping to gather some information and opinions on the developments coming to Epcot and HS. As I understand it, Epcot is Walt Disney World's own World's Fair. Since the World's Fair played such a...

Are you kidding me! The DIS WISHES/HAPPILY EVER AFTER compare

I've seen and heard a lot of comments that HEA is too technology driven and not nearly as emotional as Wishes. To each their own, but I absolutely loved HEA, and found it to be the perfect show for the end of a day at the most magical place on Earth. Granted, I was always too young to understand...

What's the best way to slow down and enjoy?

I've found that the best way to really enjoy your vacation is to embrace three keys: Plan well. This goes without saying for the most part because regardless of who you are the Disney parks are a quite the beast to conquer so to speak Accept that your plan is going to change for several...

    DCP Application Question

I applied for the DCP for the first time on September 3 for the spring program. I had read and watched videos that said that immediately after they submitted the application, they were told if they got the web-based interview or not. It's now September 30, and have not been informed either way...

    Tear my plan apart please!

FOP Fastpasses are pretty difficult to get, so if you don't manage to pick one up then there's another way to ride it without wasting your day, so long as you don't mind waking up early. Simply get to Animal Kingdom about an hour before opening, and they usually start letting people in the park...

Stitch Mickey Mouse Ears From MouseGears

In 2007, I bought a pair of Stitch Mickey Mouse ears from MouseGears. In the four times I've been down there since, I have been complimented by guests and cast members alike on the ears, and they usually ask where I got them. I have never seen a pair since then, and I'm wondering if anybody else...

    Disney tips everyone should know

Depending on if you've gone to the World many times or this is your first time: First time visitors: 1. Be sure you have plenty of time to visit all of the parks without rushing around. Transportation between parks can sometimes be tricky especially for first-time visitors. 2. If you have the...

    Favorite off-the-beaten-path WDW activities?

Both of the mini golf courses are a lot of fun. My favorite of the four (2 courses at Blizzard Beach and 2 near the Epcot Resorts) is the Fantasia themed one.
