Disney Visa Offer Coming on April 9

It's not coming up for me either. My Disney Visa is on my profile but I can't see the Spring offer either. Free dining isn't on the Chase rewards page yet. So annoying.

    The Running Thread--2024

I was finally cleared to run again after my tib/fib fracture and the IM nailing that followed. Quickly discovered the doctor wasn't kidding when he said it was going to feel weird and that my gate would be very strange at first. This is going to be a very long re-build.

    TA for cruise

Having spent some time in long hold queues to make relatively simple changes to reservations on multiple occasions, especially during covid, I am more than happy to let someone else make the phone calls for me.

Brooks has a fabulous return policy. Did you buy a shoe that was new to you? I'll admit I tend to just buy updated models of the same shoe over and over. ETA: I have made mistakes with shoes before and usually just end up repurposing them to use as new shoes for work. It's definitely frustrating.

Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (Feb 20-24 2025)

Tentatively planning for the challenge next year. I had to miss it this year due to serious injury. Hoping to be able to do it next year. (My running buddy ran this year and I ate snacks, ha!)

    DCL cruisers tried Royal...

We never stepped foot in the casino lol, we had zero interest. It was just that because of the location the smoke carried to other places and was extremely noticeable. Cool info on the casino though and the odds!

    DCL cruisers tried Royal...

My family tried Royal a couple years ago for the first time. There were some nice things, mainly that they sailed from Galveston which is super convenient for us. The entertainment was very good. We loved the skating show and the performers in the theatre shows were very talented. The price was...

Really enjoying this trip report, thank you for sharing. My family will be there in early November and will be staying at the Halepuna for a few nights in Waikiki, so I'm glad to hear that you liked it.

    ****December 2020 Thread****

My Mom and I are going Nov 30- Dec 5!! We will be staying at Pop Century, which we love. 3 Disney Parks days and 1 Universal day. We are very excited. A little worried about dining though and what it means. Having trouble getting reservations I’ve never had trouble getting before. Couldn’t get...

Splash Mountain Will Change to Princess and the Frog--WILL OPEN 7/11 as Splash

I guess I’m in the minority here because I’m not attached to the current theming of Splash. I enjoy the ride, but always felt like I couldn’t make sense of the story and felt the ride was really long. I’m quite excited about the new theming..the songs in Princess and the Frog are amazing. Tiana...

Official 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend - CANCELED

Convinced my friends to run this one rather than Princess. I had such an amazing time this year and I can't wait to do it again!

    The Running Thread - 2019

ATTQOTD: While staying at Disney I have run on the boardwalk, run at Coronado Springs and run at Port Orleans. The Boardwalk is probably my favorite of those. Coronado was in the midst of the refurb construction and it made a bit of a mess out of the path.

    The Running Thread - 2019

ATTQOTD yesterday: I've been through a few brands and styles in the three years I've been running. Perennial favorite so far is Brooks Ghost. I tried branching out to Saucony and loved them, but the sizing must be wrong (blisters and black toenails) so I'm probably going the switch back. I am a...

    The Running Thread - 2019

ATTQOTD: My work schedule is so erratic that long runs happen whenever I can fit them in. Oftentimes that is during the week.

    The Running Thread - 2019

ATTQOTD: I am less a lurker than a very inconsistent contributer. I am on a running break post Rival Run Challenge as my knee is giving me problems. I think it's my IT band and it has been going on since the half I ran in early March. At that point it took higher mileage to flare and be...
