    Tokyo Disney Itinerary-May 2024

Our 2.5 year old did okay with the waiting. The parks all opened 30 minutes early, so we were really only "standing still in line" for 30-ish minutes. We took breakfast to eat in line and she was generally happy chilling in the pram, sitting on the leisure mat or going for a walk and spotting...

Do you like the turn-down chocolates on DCL?

We had Whittaker's chocolates (a Kiwi brand) on our down under cruise and they're great!

Naples - short port day 8:30-4pm

We took the public train to Herculaneum instead of Pompeii. It's smaller than Pompeii, but WAY less busy. Ostia Attica (near Rome) was my favourite of the three "ancient, buried sites" we visited. But, Herculaneum was good. It enabled us to get back to the ship with plenty of time to spare...

November 2024 Trip To Tokyo Disney !

I'd personally put the money towards paid Premier Access tickets over an official hotel. The only exceptions to this would be: - if Fantasy Springs was absolutely essential and you were willing to book a Vacation Package (but that doesn't seem to be the case); or - you're planning to spend a...

    There's also the boat / transit steamer: https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/tds/attraction/detail/227/ https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/tds/attraction/detail/229/

Probably just the train. The paddleboat is fine, but nothing amazing (and may currently be closed).

    Tokyo Disney Itinerary-May 2024

I'm not sure Nemo warrants a Priority Pass? I've never seen it having particularly long wait times. I would be inclined to purchase PA tickets for Journey. Although, if you have early entry, maybe heading straight to Journey will result in a short wait time. I've seen some recent reports on...

    Tokyo Disney Itinerary-May 2024

The wait times for the Fantasyland rides, especially Peter Pan, can really soar quite quickly after opening. You may want to consider heading straight to Fantasyland after Baymax / Pooh. I think Toontown is pretty quiet in the afternoon. Another time to visit would be during the daytime...

What time to get to TDS?

Yeah, when we got in line, it was 30/40 minutes which we were debating (with a toddler in tow). If we knew it would be 90 minutes (in July’s heat and humidity), we would have purchased Premier Access tickets!

What time to get to TDS?

I'd say at least 30 to 60 minutes before the scheduled opening time (bearing in mind that, the park can "open" 30-ish minutes before the scheduled opening time). If you buy some breakfast from a 7-11 (or similar) and bring a leisure mat to sit on (and an umbrella for shade), the time passes...

    Pools Ok?

Our daughter (3 years old) got sick on the fourth day of our cruise, but it could have been from so very many different causes! Her symptoms were more indicative of a cold / flu rather than gastro. The times we did use the pools and spas, they closed them (presumably for cleaning) ... it seemed...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

Ah, I see. I didn't connect buffet with "table service" since you have to serve yourself! :-) I'd also consider Ristorante di Caneletto at DS, especially on the balcony as there will be stuff for the little one to "watch". You could even try to overlap eating with the daytime harbour show...

You may enjoy it then. I’m not sure if a small child helping themselves to a buffet would be … frowned upon in Japan? Not that anyone would say anything. Why would it be your only sit down meal? Maybe that term has a different meaning to what I understand, but there’s an abundance of quick...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

Just the once many years ago. It was fine. Nothing incredible, not even the desserts. I’m not sure how … pleasant it would be with a 4 year old given one of the joys of a buffet is taking your time, etc.

I wouldn't worry too much. With a four year old, you'll likely be moving at a more leisurely pace anyway. And perhaps needing some impromptu breaks if it all gets a bit overwhelming (for anyone in your party). I would budget for however many Premier Access tickets you can afford, aim to see the...

    Japan Itinerary-May 2024

Some hotels have laundromats, referred to as "coin laundries". The hotel website should list whether they do or not. I think coin laundries are also relatively common in most built-up areas (which is a lot of Japan). We've only ever used the hotel ones, but I would imagine the others are...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

That's my understanding. There will be no "unticketed" line because you can only access Fantasy Springs if you hold one of the three available tickets. The lines will be: Fantasy Springs passport holders, Premier Access ticket holders and Standby Pass holders (except for Tinkerbell's buggies for...

Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

We didn’t have any issues in July 2023. We ate outside of the main eating times, maybe 11am for lunch and 5pm for dinner, but even on the days when we missed those times, it was still okay. I think one day it did take us … maybe 5-ish minutes to wait for a table at the Hungry Bear restaurant...

Thanks! We saw Peter Pan on our most recent trip, but didn't see Rapunzel at all (although Cinderella and Belle were greeting guests).
