The reserve is nice. As long as you don't mind a little walk to the rest of the property you will enjoy your time at the reserve. I especially like their quiet pool area.

Given you are looking for a great pool and you are visiting both EC and DHS I would totally switch to the Swan for the value. It's my favorite resort on property and I stay at one of the 3 in the Swalphin family 99% of my trips.

You should be ok with the eggs and bacon. The rest is just eh IMO.

Picabu has really gone down hill but I can say that the bacon is still great. I usually go there and just get some bacon and leave.

Looks like Steve got all of them but #4 so I will chime in on that one. The food at Cabana Bar and Beach Club is among some of the best pool bar food I have ever had. Pretty diverse menu as well. Enjoy!

Very excited about this. Fresh had run it's course and honestly as a frequent visitor to the Swalphin this is a major upgrade. The addition of a bar is also very exciting for me.

It all comes down to how park heavy your days are. If you aren't park heavy I think AKL is a unique experience. If you are park heavy I would stay at the Poly or as a PP stated the Swalphin. I stay at the Swalphin all the time and I love it!

I agree with Chef de France. The menu had some better options pre-covid. It's like some of the locations on property lost their drive to make something unique and authentic. This isn't true of all locations on property though. Currently I think Topolino is the best on property right now...

I just generally associate Disney and prix fixe with lackluster. I will have to give this a shot. I have been to plenty of good resturants that are prix fixe as well...just figured they Chapeked this place.

The Golden is very smooth and one of their more popular blends. I love that one myself.

This is really a shame...CG deserves to be one of the best spots on property and they get a prix fixe menu. What a joke.

I go to the Swalphin about 5 times a year and I rarely have any issues. I go again in just over two weeks. I will post an update after my trip.

The Swalphin really needs to get with it and have this on site for purchase. So many folks use cpaps these days and to have to go over there (while mildly inconvenient) just shouldn't be necessary.
