Well, I'm in my forties and I love blue foods! 🤣

    Typhoon Lagoon Newbie questions

If you get there for opening (I agree that the first bus will be direct), then you shoudl be able to complete all of the slides and attractions quickly, probably multiple times. The lines start getting longer after an hour or so, but are still pretty manageable. I've gone, hit all of the slides...

    Magic Band question

As long as it is still tied to your MDE profile and those tickets & reservations are also tied to your profile, then it whould be all good. The Band doesn't actually store anything, it is just a shortcut to access your account. You should be able to check your active Bands (and other ticket...

Honest opinion. No Genie+ in June

Yes. Genie+ and the Individual Lightning Lanes are completely seperate. Certain rides are not included with Genie+ and have to be purcahsed seperately. You may do this regardless of if you use Genie+ or not. The ILL rides are: MK: Seven Dwarf's Mine Train MK: TRON Lightcycle/Run EP: Guardians...

Wow - is that the first WDW restaurant to get one?

    Cheeseburger Pods at Satu'li??

That is exactly what they taste like, though I do find that they are a bit fresher/hotter than typcial McDonalds fare. I actually really like them but, yeah, tehy are not exoctic/ethnic or anything. They are one of my go-to's though for a good lunch, and the veggie chips they are served with are...

Yes, I never watched Derry Girls, but she was in that - Louisa Harland.

    Blue Milk available at Publix!

Correct. The Blue and Green Milk sold in the parks are a non-dairy concoction. They use coconut and rice milk, with a kind of subtle "fruity" flavor - Blue is more like a fruit punch and Green is more citrus-flavored. There's a little more going on with them too. Honestly, I don't care for them...

Honest opinion. No Genie+ in June

I agree. If you do rope drop I think you can get away without it, and you can always just get it for one day if you feel that you need it. Personally, I tend to skip G+ and just buy a single ILL if I need it. It saves time doing what is essentially the "biggest" ride, then I just wait on the...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

I heard that Donkey Kong climbed up to the top of the construction site and keeps lobbing barrells at the workers. They sent for some Italian guy who is an expert on that kind of situation to come take care of it, but work is on hold until he arrives.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

They did do a nice job with the queue. My stepdad though, who is a contractor and installs windows and doors, was criticizing the window frames for having the transom at the top between the vertical boards. "Rain is going to get in between there!" 🤣 Yeah, it doesn't rain in here. Actually, I...

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

Right - a good ride is a good ride, no matter the IP. Personally, I do enjoy Forezen Ever After, but it is often not worth the length of that line. If it's not sticking out of the building though I will go for it.

Strategy Advice needed for 4 parks in 2 days over Memorial Day Weekend

Oh, right. They will often ask for a party of one and pull you up to board pretty much immediately, but that's not until after the split. It doesn't save as much time as a traditional single rider line.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

That is definitely what I would like to see. Instead of Insert-Franchise-IP-Land, I'd like to see Insert-Overall-Theme-Land, and the rides could be from a few different movies. I hope that's what they do with the MK expansion.

    Can you mourn a tree?

Absolutely. Trees are beautiful. I was mourning my pecan trees last year after a...miscommunication with a tree trimmer resulted in them being cut back very far. Fortunately, they do seem to be recovering, blooking leaves and growing some branches back. They will get there and I am lucky I...

Strategy Advice needed for 4 parks in 2 days over Memorial Day Weekend

This is correct. Space Mountain at Disneyland has a Single Rider line, but the MK version does not.

I finished watching this and it only got better and better with each episode. It was really great! I highly recommend checking it out.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition

Right. People clamour for and line up for the IP based rides. It's the same with people complaining about endless sequels and franchise movies. When Disney makes original stuff, nobody goes to see it. "Toy Story 11-teen, the Toyening" - you bet people go see that. So, what is Disney to do? Make...

Would you go on a game show?

I was not aware that a cash-out was ever an option. It's probably the better option with a boat too - a boat is the kind of prize that will cost you money!
