Will we have to pay to get into Hard Rock lot? Do all members of the party have to be there for each of us to get our own tickets or can one person pick up everyone’s?
I need to pick up my tickets at the ticket window due to a promotional rate. I was planning to just pick them up at Volcano Bay as that is where we are going for our first park day. But we have early entry and I read in someone’s trip report that the ticket window didn’t open until regular...
Do you feel the quick queue is worth the money? What about the version with reserved seating for shows? If you are visiting at a not super high crowd time, but trying to do “everything” (rides and big shows), do you think Quick Queue is a necessity or not really needed?
With Nighttime Lights under refurbishment, will there be any nighttime shows at Universal Orlando in October (they aren’t paying for HHN as they have a son who is 7 who would hate it)? Any non-party nighttime entertainment that time of year?
Hi! I have friends thinking of visiting SeaWorld in October. I was looking at the calendar and (as I expected) the park closes early on Howl-o-Scream night. But based on the calendar, it also closes early (6 pm) on non-Howl-o-Scream nights. Is that correct? Are there just no fireworks that...
So if I went two nights in a row, one HHN and one not, would I see two different projection shows (the Dark Arts and the regular) or is it the Dark Arts one all season regardless of whether it’s a HHN night?
Hi! I checked the carry on alcohol policy and it says 6 beers per person. It does not specify it has to be cans. But now several people on my cruise FB page say cans only. Can anyone verify whether they’ve brought bottles or not? We already bought bottled beer.
A couple questions about the Express Pass included with deluxe resorts.
1). Is it valid for both check in and check out days? So if I booked a room Friday and Saturday night, would I get Express Pass Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?
2) Do you have to book directly with Universal to get the...
Hello! We’ve been to WDW many times, and have been twice recently (in October and March). So since we’ve already hit our favorites recently, this trip we are going for restaurants we either have never been to or haven’t been to in awhile. So I would love advice for what to try/must-not-miss...
For the DAS that you book day of once you are in the park, what time can you start booking? For instance, if regular park hours start at 9, but I get in at 8:30 as a resort guest, can I book at 8:30, or do I have to wait until 9?
La Isla Fresca -
Arepas with queso - very good 8/10
Arepas with chorizo - excellent 9/10 - the chorizo were better with more flavor and a little spice, but the regular queso were more popular with my picky kids
Coconut tres leches - very good 7/10 - wasn’t particularly coconut-y to me, but...
Thank you everyone! I was able to get a reservation for my friend, so no need to loan the card. And I used the tip on calling to get a time for myself for an upcoming trip!
